Our band got all ones, best in our class, and the highest score at the comp. we went to last night. We were kinda worried cuz this is the hardest show we've ever done. There are only 48 members in the band. I play 2nd clarinet on all of the songs. There are a bunch of us seconds. Me and Katie are freshman, Matt is a sophomores, and Ashley is a Junior. Then we have about four rookies (eighth grade). Katie cought the flu, one of the rookies was haveing blood suger problams and the other three said they wouldn't play. So the only seconds that could play were me and Ashley. But get this, I had two ulsers in my mouth and all of my teeth were sore from gritting them to keep from iratateing the ulsers. I played the whole show anyway. I can't really say if it hurt, because I can't really remember much of the preformance. I'm sure it did though.

Way to fight through the pain. What show are you doing?
Our first contest is this Saturday, but we won't perform our last song. We haven't even starting learning the drill for it yet.
