Personality: Because of her past, Fayina may appear to bring sadness among those she is around. She is quiet and often daydreams back to the day when she had an owner and would mention some things that her owner would do with her, whether the dog she is talking to cares or not. She is a kind soul despite being wild and remains loyal in her nature. She's a listener as well. Despite her kind and caring nature, if provoked, that can all change. Her kind and caring nature can turn to a cold, heartless dog. She could care less if she enters another dog's territory and she isn't one to be submissive; she isn't the one who be found whimpering and rolling on her back with her tail in between her legs when approached by an alpha. She feels that's a sign of weakness and although that is disrespectful, she could still care less. She is very protective to those that are close to her and would do anything to protect them. She doesn't back down. She remains a neutral in the wild life style of living.
Background: Fayina once had the privilege of being a house pet, being pampered and loved each and everyday. She loved that life and couldn't ask for anything better. She asked for little and got a lot in return. Her owners would take her on long walks and just enjoy the warm weather. On occasion, they would visit the park and there she would meet other dogs and make a friend or two. She enjoyed this life style of living and wished that it would last forever. Her owner would take her out hunting from time to time, however, on one particular day her worst fears came true.
It was once rare for bears to make their home and hunt in the area in which she lived but slowly day by day, they appeared more frequently and the forest by her home permanent. One day, her owner took her out hunting and there they came across a large brown bear who, on that day, was anything but nice. It had attacked both her and her owner, damaging the man to the point where he would just bleed to death, but Fayina wasn't going to let the bear win. She fought with it as she protected her master, ever if it meant she was to take her life. It was a bloody battle with both beast and canine blood covering the forest floor. The bear backed down from the fight but the bloody Fayina wouldn't let it leave until it's cold body was clutched in her mouth. But of coarse, her plan of killing the bear back fired. With one final swipe of it's claws, Fayina went flying and the bear disappeared into the forest. Bloody and defeated, Fayina limped over towards her owner's body but only to find that he was dead. The bear had killed him. She vowed that someday she would kill the bear and avenge her owner's death.
She knew she couldn't go back to living as a pet for her owner was the only owner for her. With this, she had decided she was going to live the rest of her life as a wild dog. At times, flashbacks from that day, the day of her owner's death, would creep up on her and her head would play tricks on her; illusions of her owner would come to her and feeling real, she would always fall for it's tricks. Whenever she would run to her owner and find out that he wasn't really there, reality got the best of her and she no longer realizes that what had happened was indeed not a dream. The first years as a wild dog proved to be hard and tough on her. Having knowledge and skills in hunting, food came easy to her. When it came to finding shelter, however, that seemed to prove much harder than she thought. She would freeze when mother nature was at her worst and would get soaked when it rained. Although she would find shelter under a tree or where else she could cram herself in, she knew it wouldn't do much. She had crossed some paths of other wild dogs who weren't so nice to her as she was to them. She always found herself fighting over a territory and it was always she who ran away with her tail in between her legs.
After living in the wild for such a long time, she now knows what is the right and wrong way to do something. She now knows how to stand her ground and watch for a change the other dogs run away with their tail in between their legs and not her. Even though she feels she knows almost everything there is to know about living in the wild, there is a part of her that she still feels she knows nothing. She feels there is something else about the wild that she must learn about but what she is unsure of. Whatever the case maybe, she knows that someday she will find the answer to her unanswered question, even if that means the answer is to show before she passes on.
