((The following RP was carried out through PM's on Gaia.))
Burryna sighed a bit as she ran a hand through her hair. The drowess was in the small house that she owned herself in the southdark, though it was larger than the previous one. The last time she had been in that house was when that one female, Quav, had been taken care of. Thinking about that, that was also the last time Mica had spoken with her. She hoped that he had made much progress in the time, it had been some time since then. He'd been given ample time to have some decisions made, precautions made, and more training taken. She had been rather bored since that last meeting and decided to check up on him to see what he'd been doing. So now here she was waiting. Her guards were hidden around the area, so that only one drow would be able to enter the door. She was not waiting in the main room though. Burryna was sitting in a chair at a table in the small bedroom the house had, the room also had a second chair as well as a bed. Her reasoning was that she was actually reading by a small candle's flame, and the bedroom hadn't a window. The small light from the candle could draw unwanted attention, so she waited in the windowless room reading.
Micarreth slipped through the streets quietly. His head bowed and his thoughts racing quicker then his steps. Things had been progressing along famousely lately. Or so he believed. The summons to meet with Burryna was something he could not and would not ignore. He felt a slight flutter of nervouseness in his stomach. A lot of time had passed since they had last met. Burryna could have grown tired of waiting for him. She could have found another male to replace him...was that even possible? Micarreth knew something about her that he was certain she would not share with just -any- male...
As he entered the house, his ear tilted. He listened just in case she had decided, as insane as it sounded to even to him, to get rid of him privately. But no..there was no warning sounds, and he made his way to the bedroom with no troubles.
"Burryna, I have--GUAH!" As Micarrth opened the door, the tiny flicker of flaming light seared his eyes like a hot poker directly to his brain. Unexpecting as he was. Mica slapped a hand over his eyes and scowled. "Why do you have that damn thing lit?"
Burryna had lost track of the time as she read. Normally a drow does not do much reading, seeing that light was needed most of the time. But this opportunity presented itself, so she took it. She wondered what Mica would think on his way over to the meeting place, would he be nervous. A chuckled escaped her lips as she thought, would he think that he'd be replaced by her. The opportunity that he presented was one that would be hard to replace, he also knew things that she wouldn't want out. Things that she rather enjoyed that he knew too.
Her ears pricked up at the sound of a door opening. Mica took longer then she thought to get to the door, he was probably being cautious, she couldn't blame him. She did not turn out the candle, she did take some enjoyment in the surprise of it to him. "I was reading." Burryna then blew out the candle and turned to face him in her chair, giving no sorries for the light. "It has been a while, Mica. Take a seat." Her hand waved around the small room, the choices of seating were few, two chairs (one occupied) and the bed. Her red eyes glanced over him, noticing something was different about him.
The image of the flame still burned in his eyes even after the candle was blown out. Micarreth rubbed at them visciously with his palms in an attempt to rub the image away. As his sight 'healed' of that horrible bright image, Mica was able to drop his hands away from his eyes. For the most part he seemed unchanged. His clothing were just a touch tighter and his weapons seemed to bare a bit more use to their hilts. His hair had grown longer though. It reached lower around his face, giving it a softer look with the manner it hung.
Mica crossed the room to sit upon the bed next to Burryna. His amber eyes were still watering slightly so he needed to wipe at them one last time. "I have been exceptionally busy. Since I've quite training with my old teacher things have proven more difficult for me to learn."
Had only been reading, the image of the flame was not that bright for her. Burryna had also been use to the light more than she expected Mica to be. Her eyes looked him up and down, noting the small changed. She looked at his hair, the thing changed the most, she was thinking that she actually enjoyed his hair this longer length.
Her eyes followed his movements as he crossed the room to sit near her. By then, her eyes were cleared of the light and had adjusted to the darkness again. Burryna was glad that he had been busy, that was not a disappointment there. "That is good to hear. I'm glad to hear your training is more difficult, you will get better results." She turned in her chair to face him better. "What else have you been up to, tell me."
"Actually." Micarreth corrected Burryna as he began to finally see properly in the room. "Things have gotten more difficult as I have been training by myself. I haven't found any teacher to replace the other. The fact I was training to be an assassin has become minor common knowledge within certain circles. I can't find a thief that will train me out of jealousy I think. And I have not taken up your offer of warrior training yet. I was hoping to let things die down a bit. I've been recieving weapons training from my own House Weapons Master. There are thieves within the Raiding parties that could teach me, but the last thing they want to do between their trips to the surface is pander to the 'baby' of the family."
Micarreth had to admitt that it was a sour dissappointment really. As his matron grew older the raiders of the House grew a bit more bold and proud. "I'm afraid they are planning on taking the House once mother dies. I am not sure though..."
With another shake of his head, Micarreth shifted on the bed so he could face Burryna more properly.
"I've managed to get in my service another drow. He has some similarities to myself. We have the same eyes and hair length. I'm planning on using him as a proxy when I attempt to carry out your task. I figure if he wears my cloths and keeps my scarf around his lower face he should be mistaken for me. If I place him at your side, and you choose a mildly public place to be at the time, we will both have viable alibis. He's also disposable if neccessary later on."

Burryna’s brow twitched some when Mica replied, as if correcting her, normally she did not like to be corrected at all. “It would be rather hard to train yourself I guess since you hadn’t had much training at all.” She shifted to support her head with her hand, cocking it to the side some. “And which circles would that be, nothing noticeable I would take it.” Her head nodded some. “That would be a good idea to let things die down before you take some warrior training, just to be less noticed by some. It is good to see that you are getting some training though, it would be a waste of time for you to have no training at this moment. Perhaps you should show them that you aren’t the ‘baby of your family and they would be more willing to help you.” Burryna was disappointed some too by some of the progress, but there was progress no the less. “Perhaps, if you showed the Raiders who was in charge, they’d be less inclinded to think of taking over. I could always help…” She grinned some.
Her brow rose at his next words, how interesting. “That, my dear Mica, sounds like a wonderful idea. I’m surprised that I hadn’t thought of something like that. I would like to meet this drow sometime before then, but we do have a while yet. How did you get him into your service?” She leaned over the side of the chair some and ran a hand through Mica’s hair. “I quite like your hair this length.”
If Micarreth was aware that he had irked Burryna, he was doing a grand job showing how little he cared. His shoulders shrugged slightly as he listened to her speak, and listen he did. Though he seemed a little agitated by the turn of events recently he was not fool enough to let it distract him from listening to her. She was right anyways about the circles that knew of his plans. On top of her realzation about how much wiser it was to train in mild secrecy inhis own house. besides...he still wasn't certain if he wanted to trust her weapons master yet.
"I have been thinking about that. But the Raiders enjoy a position of power in the House. They are the ones who bring in the wealth we have and they are pretty much our boasting point. I can't push too much on them or else they may decide to have an accident happen. I'm still working on it though. i am sure I will come up with something."
And here his face broke out into quite the grand smile. "I got him drunk." He was terribly proud of his simple ploy. "I got him drunk enough to learn a bit about him. I promised him a position in my House, where there are no females to beat on him, and some better swords. He practically fell into my lap. I just sent a false letter stating he had insulted my House and 'paid' for the privilidge to do whatever I wanted with him. So now he is my servant. I can arrange for you to meet him sometime soon. I want to make certain he is going to be obediant enough first."
Mica tilted his head into Burryna's touching fingers. "I was thinking of cutting it back...but if you like it I think I'll just let it stay this length. Hmm...there is one more thing to report. I've managed to get hired by a mage to steal a ring for him from a rival. Or at the least set up the means for his death. I think I may have a edge over the mage too. He seems to...like me..."
Mostly, Burryna was agitated because she felt as though she hadn’t much of a helping hand in much of this. The idea that some of it was out of her control was the real bother for her, and that is was going a little into a different direction. But really, it wasn’t that bad and she rather liked some of what Mica had come up with. She hoped that he took some of her advice on the training and letting the talk die down. Perhaps it would be wise for him to train some before working with her own weapons master yet. He was rather tuff on others, especially males. So maybe him having some previous training will be for the best.
“Hmm, well I guess just keep on their good side. If the poor in your house isn’t questioned or swayed for now that would be best. We’ll think of how to deal with them when the time comes, I can be… persuasive.” Her lips spread into a grin and she chuckled about his exploits of getting his ‘servant’ drunk. “That is rather amusing. As long as we can trust him for what he is needed for, we can wait on what will become of him after.”
Burryna brought her hand closer to his cheek, still playing with his hair some. “Yes, keep it this length. I like having a little to run my fingers through.” Her brow rose again as he talked about the mage. “Really, that is interesting… I hope that you do not let him act on those… feelings.” She leaned her face close to his. “You would find that I can be rather, jealous. I wonder if you’ve missed me Mica.”
"I'll figure out some way to deal with them eventually. All I want to do is make certain I don't get on their badside...or let them catch on to my own plans. Right now the going rumor is that I've gotten myself infatuated with some girl on the streets and that is why I sneak away so much." Mica's eyes twinkled with a small merry light as he let his gaze shift over her form. "I figure the rumor doesn't need to be corrected quite yet..."
As Burryna played with his hair, Mica closed his eyes. It felt rather nice to have his hair touched. Though he would not come out and say it, he rather enjoyed the feeling of fingers in his hair. "I am uncertain as to the level of his loyalty or skills yet. I will be testing him soon though. I want to make certain he won't run off on me. It would be a bonus if he turned out to be one of those fools that gave blind loyalty to anyone that showed them a bit of kindness. He mentioned more then once how grateful he was for my 'generousity' when he was drunk. He certainly sounds like the type to devote themselves over a bit of favortisim."
She liked his hair did she? Then he'd certainly keep it this length. He wanted to gain as much of her favor as possible after all...
"Mmm..." His eyes cracked open and his lips curled into a slightly mischevious grin. "Jealousy is a good color on you Burryna. It makes your eyes glint fetchingly. Do not worry though. He didn't get anything from me. I don't intend on doing anything more then I have to...but I will do what I must to obtain what I want." Oh yes, of that he was very determined! He enjoyed looking into the set of her face, close enough to steal a kiss if he wanted...perhaps he should?
"Of course I have missed you Burryna. Where else am I going to find a female like you? But I am not going to let any boundries be raised that will keep me from achiveing what I desire..." He lifted a hand in an attempt to catch hold of her by the back of her head. "I am not a male easily satisfied with what lot I've been handed. I want more and I will get more, no matter what it takes."
“Well all will work out eventually, it would be best for you to stay in favor with all of your contacts for now.” Burryna felt a shiver run down her spine when she felt his eyes on her, that darn male. “Hmm, though I don’t like being call ‘some girl on the streets’ indirectly, you are right that it shouldn’t be corrected yet.” She grinned a little and watched him close his eyes as her fingers ran through his hair, she enjoyed the feeling of his hair. “Hmm, he does should quite useful and like he would give loyalty.
She did hope that he wouldn’t cut the hair, she could always resort to ordering him to keep it. A smile spread across her face as Mica spoke again. Burryna could get quite jealous, she had been any only child for a while. She was not one to share her things. “I’ve always did like the color green, the color of envy isn’t it.” A grin spread across her lips. She leaned in closer to him some more, almost sure that he was going to kiss her, but did not.
“Nor would you have luck looking. It would be hard for me to replace you. Also lucky for you that your lot will be raised one day, after we finish taking care of a few things.” She would have much trouble replacing him, never did she really trust a male to know the things he did, or let him do some things he did. Burryna felt his hand cradle the back of her head and her breath deepened some.
Micarreth choose to answer Burryna with a quick hard kiss. His head leaning forwards as he pulled with his hand on the back of her head so that their lips met with what he felt was a suitable amount of dominating force. He would not linger with the kiss too long though. It was only a taste. A test. To see just how much she had been wanting for him while they were away. His amber eyes were only half open for the kissing, and when he pulled back, providing she did not first, he flashed her a wickedly sly smirk.
"I am irreplaceable Burryna. Just as you are. There is no other drow in all of the underdark that could possibly appreciate you the way I do. Nor would any male truely wish to see you succeed as whole heartedly as I do." His fing curled on the back of her head, digging in firmly to match the grin he now bore.
"I do believe green would suit you very well Burryna. Wear that color for me the next time we meet." Would she? Would she listen to him? He had to test after all, to see just how much of an influence he had. But oh! He had best be careful. It would not do to ignite her ire. Not when he had so much going for him!
Micarreth shifted his butt off the bed, and stooped forwards a steap so he could attempt to sit upon her lap facing her. It was incredibly hard to hold himself back. Now that they were alone. No prying eyes to see them here. no lips to whisper. Here and alone he could test to see just how far he could go, just how much influence he had on her. Just how dominant he could be and how much this Daughter of the Great House would bend....
Burryna smiled when she felt his lips on her own, almost knowing that the kiss was coming. Her head tilted as he leaned forward, towards her. She could only guess that he had missed having some sort of dominance over someone, especially a female. Deep down, she too had missed that feeling. That taste of a kiss was over to quick for her as he pulled back before she would have. She grinned some at the smirk on his lips afterwards.
“That, my dear Mica, is very true. No other drow would grasp the understanding that either of us have. We are both one of a kind, aren’t we.” Her eyes fluttered for a moment when his fingers dug into her hair more. “Hmm, Mica, did you forget that I have worn green most of the times you’ve meet with me.” Oh he did have some influence, but she would make sure he would not forget who was the one in control overall, who had the most power. “I can’t hold any promise of what I’ll wear next time.
When Mica moved off of the bed and towards her, she let him do what he please and sit upon her lap. Her hand moved back to his hair and started to play with it again. She wondered if he would hold himself back at all, their last meeting they had taken care of that nuisance and hadn’t time to discuss anything at all. Curious of what he would do, she waited for him to make the first move.
Mica's shoulder shifted into a half shrug. "Oh, I am aware of it Burryna. I just like that color best on you." Too quick. He was expecting too much too quickly. He had to mentally note to himself that he had to hold himself back. He needed to focus on building gradually. He couldn't expect everything to happen all at once after all...
Sitting as he was across her lap, he did have a hard time restraining himself. If he jumped her each and every time..well...that would make it obvious he was the one in her control in a way. If he wished to keep her interest he knew he had to give her tastes now and then to tease her along... Mica leaned his head forwards so he could do just that. Tease his lips against her's while he smiled. He liked how she played withhis hair. It sent such pleasent tingles through his scalp...
In turn he began to brush his fingers through her own. His amber eyes glinting with just a hint of contentment. "So then, you haven't told me what you've been up to yet Burryna...."
“Hmm, is that so, even though you really haven’t seem me in that many colors.” This day she had chosen to wear a very dark blue, instead of the more normal green. Burryna could tell what he was trying to do, that he was trying to influence her and get a hold over her. Though she was the one who had lived a longer life, as a daughter of the second most powerful house. He would find it hard to do what he was trying, though there were a few things that she would let him have control over.
Oh, she could tell he was having some issues holding himself back, it was fun to watch. She herself was having some trouble retraining herself, with him sitting on her lap. His teases were just to distracting. Her hand ran through his hair again, her fingertips brushing against his scalp. She grinned a little when his lips teased hers, darn him. Her eyes closed for a moment when she felt his own fingers in her hair, it did feel rather good. “Well, I haven’t had as much.. excitement as you have. I do have to upkeep all of my priestess duties. I do also believe that one of my sisters suspects that I am up to something.”
Micarreth let his eyes wander slowly over Burryna's face. making notes of the manner she smiled and how her expression changed. Was she happy or amused? Maybe a little of both? Since he had begun training on his own, Micarreth had made a conscious effort to pay attention to the facial expressions and body language of others. He was positive it would be of help to him later on when he grew older and more accomplished.
"Will she be a problem?" Pleasure and manipulation aside, this could be a serious threat to their plans. If her sister poked around before they were ready...well... "Do we need to... distract her? Or mislead her?"
Burryna could feel his eyes looking over her face, it seemed that he had indeed learned some stuff. She was both happy and amused, though showed the amusement the most. Drow weren't suppose to be happy really, nor were they really suppose to show concern for another. Though it did seem that whatever he was teaching himself was good.
Her hand waved around in the air for a moment. "I do not think she would be." She was slightly irked that the pleasure and manipulation was put to the side for now, but this did need to be discussed. "I think first I have a talk with her, and her twin. I know that they are of similar feelings of our mother. And seeing that they are younger then you, neither are close to ready to think about being Matron or running the house."
What Mica really wanted to do was kiss her. Kiss her and pin her down and..yeah...stuff like that. But if there was something that threatened his future power. That -had- to be taken care of first. Micarreths head tilted as Burryna would dismiss the two sisters so easily. "I don't really agree with that Burryna. Your never too young to start planning on ascention. If there is two of them, and they are working together, I think that makes it even more likely they are a threat to us."
Burryna could feel that attraction, that darn attraction. She wanted to kiss him, or really for he to kiss her, though only he could know that, only he would ever be allowed to know that. But he seemed determined to discuss her younger sisters, she suspected that what he said was from some of what he had experienced himself. "True, though they'd have to get our mother and me out of the way first, and perhaps my father. What would you think we do about them, I can't really get rid of them anytime soon though." She smirked a little and leaned forward, to brush her lips against his, teasing him. "You know if I had a strong and loyal bodyguard perhaps they wouldn't be able to get close to me."

Busniess...busniess first. Then he could have her. Then he could do all of the the things he had been day dreaming about these past few weeks. Though Burryna did not think that her sisters were much of a threaat, Micarreth felt otherwise.
"It is foolish to disreguard them just because you believe there are too many obstacles in their path. If they were to strike, and honestly Burryna they are female daughters of the second house, then you would be the first target. You stand in their way of becoming greater in the House. You are the one they need to remove. The weapons master is just a male. Your mother is always the last piece on the Sava board."
Micarreth shifted closer to Burryna, his hand reached up so as to cup her cheek in a gentle grasp.
"You are too kind to think they have not already decided that you must be removed. I do not want you to fall prey to them Burryna. You said it yourself. I will never find another female like you to serve. I would be...broken...if I lost you."
Mica tilted his head once more. A deep thoughtful expression crossed his face. What to do about them? What to do?
"I will consider the benefit of your favorable words concerning them. As they have not yet struck against you. I assume you do not wish for them dead?"
It was foolish for her to disregard her two younger sisters. Though they’d have much to overcome, they were daughters of one of the highest houses, they could find away. She did not like to admit that she had underestimated them and that Mica was right, though… he’d never tell anyone what they discussed anyway. “Hmm, that is true. Though, I would think that the first obstacle for either of them would be their twin. If I had a twin, I’d want to take her out first while we were both less trained.”
Burryna’s hand stopped running through Mica’s hair and rested on his shoulder when he reached up to her cheek. Kind.. that was almost a harsh word. “I am not kind, I merely just underestimated them right now. You’d be broken, I wonder in what sense.”
She sighed as she thought too, wondering what to do about her sisters. “I do not want them dead, at least not yet. I haven’t seen their potential and if they would be loyal to me for at least a while, they could be useful.”
Mica considered the probability of twins targeting each other first. "It is possible. Unless they have formed a bond with each other. Twins are freakish drow, they sometimes form connections that is not natrual for drow to feel. They may not consider each other a threat. Have you seen any signs of jealousy between them or rivalry? Or do they seem to work well together and do they seem to prefer each others company? If it is you wish to try and use them, now would definatly be the time to begin working on them. Younger drow are far more easily conditioned."
Of course he himself was a younger drow too. He ought to consider that when he spoke. But he felt that he was wiser beyond his years, or at least intelligent and driven enough to be considered wiser.
"I would suggest trying to get thema lone each. Spend some...time...with them. If you can get them to form a fondness for you I am certain you can exploit it. That is what I intend on doing with the mage eventually. Plus, if it turns out that they may prove to be a problem you can always try to turn them against each other. Abyss, I could even arrage for one of them to vanish if you wish Burryna. I could use someone to practice my skills on..."
Burryna pondered for a moment before replying. “Well, from what I’ve noticed, they have a little of a bond. But, I know that my youngest sister is very jealous of her sister. The youngest, she is a priestess, wanted to be an assassin but hadn’t the skill. Ironically, her older sister is. So it is complicated I believe. I do know that they discuss things with each other, but I think the older is more or less using her sister.” She hadn’t ever really had to think of the relationship between her younger sisters.
She raised her hand from his shoulder and brought it back to his hair. “I think that I can manipulate my youngest sister the easiest. I did have to raise them both, Lloth damn my mother for making me do that. They do have some appreciation for me. It should be easy to turn them against one another if need be.”
Burryna shifted in the chair under Mica while thinking. “Let us hold off on thinking of either of them vanishing for now. The one I’m most concerned with would be a hard for you to deal withanyway.” She leaned forward to whisper into his ear. “And if you have trouble besting me, she would be a handful.”
Micarreth held his head still so he could continu to enjoy the touch of Burryna's hand. She was easily suspecting the meaning behind much of what he was saying. HIs greatest fear was losing the opportunity that she presented for him. It was her position and the power it would give him that he desired, and her body of course that his young hot blood lusted for. Had she been another female it would have been something entierly different. Mica was coming to care only for himself and the opportunities he could take advantage of;. But, he did not need to let his colder emerging nature be so obvious. A good and talented drow could mask himself with layers of pleasentries to make those about him fond of him.
"Good. This is something we can use then Burryna. It is never too early to begin such planning. Which ever sister you wish to keep I would suggest you start working on her immediatly. Ah! Speaking of working..."
Micarreth shifted on Burryna's lap to give he...quite the wicked grin.
"In my studies I have come across the lore of a exceptionally special poison. It takes time to administer and has the added benefit of making it nearly impossible to discern whom it was that carried out the poisoning. From what I understand, it is also a very impressive accomplishment to kill someone using this poison. It consists of eight different elements. Each one must be slipped into your targeet one at a time. You must give each part of the poison to your target within two tendays of the last dose. It takes time to complete the poisoning, but if you can think of a way to slip it to your mother it would lead to her death in a manner that would not point any fingers at you. It is also written that it's successful use is something that the Goddess finds...favorable..."
Burryna was enjoying playing with his hair again. Of course she get some of the meaning behind what he was saying, being in her position, you had to know and have control of what was going on around you. He wouldn’t lose her favor over some of this, he’d have to do something terrible, though she’d never admit that. And it was the only time she’d ever let a male do what she let him, and she rather enjoyed it that way.
“I’ll have to ponder that later then and perhaps I’ll actually have something to report to you on during our next meeting.” When he shifted on her lap, she had to hold back a groan, darn distracting male. She nodded as he spoke of the poison, one that she had never heard of. “That sounds intriguing, and promising. Is that all the information that there is on that poison? I must think on that as well, if there would be the opportunities to use that correctly.” A grin spread across her face for a moment while she leaned forward. “So you aren’t going to cut your hair, are you?”

"I would not mind hearing whatever you have been doing." Micarreth replied with a rather odd note of genuine honesty. "I am sure you are doing more then just making yourself look as pretty as you normally are. Not that you have to put much time and effort into that I am sure."
Micarreth noted easily the tightening of Burryna's chest when she fought back her moan. While it was fun to tease her he really had more of a interest in focusing on their plans. Power was winning out over physical pleasure in priorities in the young drow.
"No, there is more information about the poison. Such as what it is made of and how to make it. I can begin preparing it if you want to try using it. I should have it ready in a few weeks, or later if you want to hold off on the assassination attempt. In all honesty if you deliver the poison to her in accordance to it's instructions your matron will be dead within four months time at the very latest. My training will take much -much- longer to complete then that. I am sure you can find means to slip it into her food or drink?"
Micarreth paused at the question about his hair. Would he cut it? "No. I think I will leave it as it is for now. You seem fond enough of it and I would like to please you if it is as easy as this."
Burryna’s hand stopped playing with his hair for a moment while she pondered his question. “I have been doing little, sadly. Though I have been observing my mothers movements, so I could find if she had any defiant patterns and tasks that she follows.” She chuckled softly. “You are right on that, I do not put any effort into making myself pretty.”
Her head nodded as Mica spoke more of the poison. “Perhaps we can hold off on it for now, I would like to observe her more closely. It would be best to have an idea of how to carry out the poisoning before we try it. I will do that and tell you what I find during out next meeting, then we can plan that out.”
“That is good, I do rather like it this length.” Her fingers were running through his hair again. “Your hair does feel rather nice.”
Well..She already was the daughter of the second house. And she was already a accomplished priestess. Micarreth supposed that Burryna had already obtained her needed goals. Everything was pretty much waiting on him. He felt a twist of sourness in his stomach that made him rather quickly lose his desire to be so close to the drowess.
"Of course Burryna." He responded with a dour expression upon his face. There were some things that he really had been ignoring, and now he realized maybe he ought not to. His amber eyes flickered up at Burrynas face to begin studying her. She was older, more talented, more trained...
Did he really believe her promise to him? What was he really anyways? Just another male in a whole city. Perhs she was only leading him on so she could use him. he could not be the only drow around that had a liking for doing such things to others? it was a wonderful feeling. Being able to control another drows actions. Maybe that was all she was doing. Brushing her fingers through his hair to give him the sense that she was fond of him. Wasn't she doing the same thing with his hair that he had been trying to do with the color of her dresses?
"Well....like I said. I will keep it this long since you like it...hMmm... I...ought to get going Burryna... I do have a lot of training to work through...and those other two drow to work on...not to mention a lot of poison research...."
Burryna had accomplished many goals that had set for herself when she was younger, though that list would just keep growing. A drow can never truly be satisfied, what would she do after becoming Matron of the second house. Perhaps she would need to move her house up one more ranking. A slightly confused look was upon her face when Mica's expression changed. What had she said to change his mood that much.
Though true she was leading him on some, she had meant all of what she said. She wondered if he was trying to guess her motives, was she losing his trust. Burryna won't readily admit it just yet but she was rather fond of the male. And she thought that after he trained more and got older, he would make a fine patron. Yet being drow, it was hard to not seem as though you were manipulating another, it was like second nature.
She sighed when he spoke again, he sounded uncertain now. Would she have to prove that she did mean what she said. "I guess you would have lots of training to do. Hmm, well if you'd rather go and work on those drow then be my guest." Her voice sounded very slightly upset. "Anything else before you leave?"
Micarreth had effectively confused himself. His recent actions towards other drow had caused him to take a second look at his own situation. Such doubts and suspicions were the back bone of many drow houses after all.
Mica turned his head, just a little bit, so he could peer at Burryna while she had her own thoughts and feelings to deal with. " Yes. It is important isn't it? The sooner I become more skilled the sooner our goals are met." That was something that Micarreth could certainly not ignore. His dsire for power and results was a great driving force within him.
In answer to Burryna's unhappy question, Micarreth parted his lips in a wide grin. Leaning forwards, he sought to answer her by grasping Burryna by her lovely white hair and pressing a fierce determined kiss to her lips. Just because he was feeling anxious and suspicious did not mean he would not take advantage of whatever opportunities he could get ahold of!
She had hoped that perhaps in his own thought he would come across a few realizations. Especially being as high up as she, one had to be so calculating manipulating, even if you really weren’t. Burryna grinned a bit and nodded. “Of course, you’ll need to be good in weapons when you are ready to train with my father. He is strict, I should know because he trained me.” She was a little glad now that the hesitance was gone from his voice. “And I’ll be wanting to hear more about those drow you are working on next time and everything that happens.”
At his grin, one of her brow rose, wondering what he was thinking. She could feel his hands grasp her hair and his lips press to hers. This surprised her for a moment before she returned his kiss, deciding he had redeemed himself for the time being.
