I love that a couple people haven't even heard of it. Its the third book after Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini.
No, fair lady, its not sad. Its good that you liked it so much. Is it a hard cover copy? I can read those so fast. I prefer paperbacks, though. They force me to go slower and really read the books and get everything. And with the books I read, I have to really get everything. Especially with the Kushiel's Legacy series by Jacqueline Carey.
I read Eragon, and I liked it, but not enough to buy the other two. But hey, that's just one opinion, right? And they made a movie out of it, so obviously enough people liked it. I'm just happy people were reading, really.

Tommy Cullen I love that a couple of people haven't even heard of it. Me too. That's not sad at all. I'm not the biggest fan of the Inheritance books but I still think that they're good books to read. I'm shocked you read it so fast too; I think it took me a few days (reading on and off of course) to get through it.

Tommy Dionysus I read Eragon, and I liked it, but not enough to buy the other two. But hey, that's just one opinion, right? And they made a movie out of it, so obviously enough people liked it. I'm just happy people were reading, really. The movie was an absolute insult and disaster, not even my 8 year old brother liked it, and he usually likes those types of films. I really didn't like Brisingr as much as I liked Eragon and Eldest. Brisingr just had these really really slow parts in them and it just...well...wasn't that good. Not enough to keep me interested really. Also, I thought it was suposed to be a trilogy or something. What happened? confused

Well, no it's not sad, especially considering I bought it the night it came out and had it fiished by noon 2 days later sweatdrop I thought it was really good, but wierd how they changed from a trilogy to at least a quartet. HATED the movie...I'm sorry, but if you read Eragon, then you know that the movie was HORIBBLE! I was so looking forward to it to...

Yes it is. I hate that series for its lack of originality and character depth. Or, when it's original, it's not very good.
