(*shoves this here so she doesn't forget*)
The forest was still and quiet as the sun began to push it’s way above the horizon and into the firey coloured sky. Daisuke had wandered away from his rag-tag group of companions in search of a little breakfast.
The dappled light cast shadows everywhere, which was perfect for the grey and black striped male. He caught the sound of running water and padded toward its source.
He approached the bank and lapped up a little water, his mouth dry from sleep, before slowly and carefully wading into the water. Rainbow trout were swimming upstream not realising that a pair of intent and hungry blue eyes were observing them. The male licked his lips in anticipation.
Celeste had just woken up from her nap, which she had taken just along the edge of the trees near the stream. Being tied down to no one she had managed to wander her way out here on a search for food and shelter, it wasn't long before she had fallen asleep in the shade of a small tree.
Her stomach grumbled noisily as she sat up with a sleepy grin, the cause for her having woken in the first place was of course her stomach. Stretching out she rose from her spot in the grass and headed towards the stream nearby, streams were a good place for mud and for finding food no matter what she was in the mood for, and thus she liked to stay near them. It wasn't long before the stream was
within her sight as well as something that did not belong, she tilted her head to the side and stopped a ways away. You can never be unprepared around strangers.
Daisuke was downwind of the golden female and didn’t notice her. He was completely focused on the fish swimming around his legs. He slowly eased his head toward the water and at the last minute tried to grab one. A fat, flailing trout writhed between his jaws. He bit down and heard a satisfying crunch and blood oozed around his teeth.

One fish at a time.
He turned to head toward the bank, and stopped dead in his tracks. His nose twitched as he studied the form infront of him, tail flagged. He hadn’t expected to see anyone so early and just stood there like an idiot.
Celeste remained standing as she watched the other retriever curiously. She took note that he was hungry as well as she watched him manage to snag a nice juicy fish. She took one small step forward towards the male and stopped, should she just grab something to eat or remain wary of the other dog in case he was trouble? She couldn't decide,

but managed to let out a chuckle as she realized that she had been spotted. "Surprise," she murmured quietly, it seemed he had been caught off guard judging by his response, or should she say lack of a response. "Nice fish you've got there!" she called over awkwardly not knowing what to do in this sort of situation.
A sheepish, fish filled, smile slid across the dog’s face. He jerked his neck and tossed the fish at her feet. “Ohayo, hungry?” He asked. “I can always get another one.” Daisuke elaborated, glancing to the water. He paused. “The name’s Daisuke, by the way…” He added, shifting his weight a bit as the sun rose even higher.
Celeste's muscles tensed as she was surprised, she hadn't been expecting him to throw the fish to her. She chuckled quietly as she forced herself to relax, this dog seemed friendly. "Ah... just a little bit..." she glanced down at the fish and smiled, "thank you," she said with a nod. Sitting down she pawed at the fish and stared at it, "my name is Celeste," she murmured, "You

don't have to get another fish, this one is plenty big enough for us to share if you want. Though I can always catch one myself." She grinned proudly before the mud along the bank caught her eye, it looked so fun and damp and... she shook her head quickly and looked back at Daisuke. "Whichever you like," she said slowly hoping not to become distracted by the glorious mud again.
Daisuke nodded. “It’s good to meet you, Celeste-san.” He told her with a soft smile. “And it’s up to you…take your favourite parts and I’ll have what’s left.” The male headed out of the water, his paws and legs up to his due claws sopping wet. He reclined to his haunches next to her, and let out a yawn. “So…d’you live around here?” He asked with a slight tilt of his head.
Celeste smiled, "likewise," she chuckled before glancing down at the fish. "Favorite parts?" she tilted her head and grinned, "due to the fact that I might not have food at some point I've learned not to be picky. Besides it wouldn't be fair if i took all the good stuff since your the one that caught it, this fish looks like it has plenty of muscle for the both of us." She

smiled and craned her neck before nudging the fish with her nose. "I'll take a third and you can have the rest," she said slowly rolling it towards him. "That alright with you?"
