If you are wanting to order a custom from our staff, please be sure to read the following rules to make sure the process goes smoothly. General Rules of Engagement:
Keep in mind each staff member will have their own individual guidelines in addition to the general ones listed here. Please make sure to read their posts below before approaching them with an order.
I (Paperghost) will not regulate the prices that each artist charges for their customs. Make sure to find out what your artist's prices are before making an order.
All Palas types are not currently available. The only templates that are ready right now are Inen, Drei, and Illu. Please be aware that if you still choose to go with a type that has not been released, you will likely be waiting for a while to receive the adult stage. Consider yourself cautioned.
Please pay attention to what an artist is offering when they open their custom slots.
At the moment, staff members do not have access to the old pala lines.
Things that you may not have in your custom(either because Paper is greedy or because future events have already been planned):
- Any type of kirin influence.
- Pandas.
- No cosplays from the following series: (exceptions can be made for obscure characters/monsters upon approval)
[!] Please note, these are only things that Paper has restricted. Please see individual artist posts for their own "Will not do" lists.

Full time:
Full time staff members are allowed 1 pet trade per month. Trades must be approved by me.
3 Basic palas. (Hair edits only)
Staff members that have established their own subspecies lineart set can apply a subspecies custom to a Basic slot if no additional edits are made to the base.
2 Complex palas
Complex covers mostly superficial edits, clothing, elaborate hair, etc. Also any minor changes to anatomy fall under complex (a slightly shorter tail/any small edits to the wings, etc).
1 Hybrid pala
This covers major changes to the pala's physical design. Scales, completely new wings, large horns (it's fine to put smaller horns under complex) I'm not really going to be up your @ss about whether a pala is Complex or Hybrid, just use your own discretion.
1 breeding
Max of 3 babies per breeding. There are no complexity categories for palas from breeding slots. Even if you pop out some godly six-winged beasty, it won't take up your hybrid slot. (of course, if the babies are SUPER DETAILED and look nothing like their basic parents, I may have to say something xD;; )
Part time:
Part time staff members are allowed one pet trade for every major event they've participated in, not to exceed 1 trade every other month. Trades must be approved by me.

Please feel free to bring any questions/concerns to me. I know it's necessary to have rules, but I hate making them. I'm flexible if you have any issues with any of the guidelines I've put down or if you have suggestions. :'3

Well, heres my own personal set of rules. This is still a work in progress, and I definitely reserve the right to add more/change ANY rules/pricings at my own personal whim. 
Be Courteous: This should really go without saying... but please. No emo-ing over losing slots, no guilt-tripping winners, no harassment/complaining/whining/etc.
Be Patient: Growing schedules are listed below, but please realize that RL happens occasionally and I'll need more time to do something than originally thought. In such cases I'll do my best to contact you via PM and discuss everything.
Be Ready to Pay: Payment is due within 24 hours. If you havent given some reason in the beginning why you might be late, your slot may very well be voided and given to someone else instead.
Be Gold: As of now, I ONLY take customs in gold. So make sure to have your items already sold BEFORE you get any kind of paid slot with me.
Be Prepared: I will not allow changes to custom forms after they've been posted. If your custom is particularly complex/difficult, you'll get one chance to make minor changes when I send you a WIP (more info below). Please note that minor changes are under my discretion.
Be PM/AIM Accessible: Please have your PMs open to everyone when you order a custom. Price quotes, general questions and other things I would prefer to be discussed over private methods- for me, meaning AIM or PM.
Be Fair: You may only win one custom/breeding/pet trade from me per month. Obviously, if your breeding two of your own pets with each other, this counts as one slot won.
Custom slots come in three forms- raffle, speed slots and colorists choice.
Raffle: Raffles will tend to be open for a day or two. You post your custom form in the designated thread (not PMed or posted anywhere else). After the raffle closes I'll use the randomizer to draw the winners for the number of slots.
Speed Slots: Sometime 1-3 days before (depending on how reliable my schedule is) I'll post times for speed slots to be open. Specific speed slot directions will be given on a case-by-case basis.
Raffle: Colorists choice works like raffles, where a thread will stay open for a certain amount of time. You post your custom form, and after I close them I'll send out PMs to the winners.
Customs come either fully growing (lamp-pala-adult) or as adult only. Perma-baby's may be available per individual request.
The Number of lamps from breedings will be randomized in secret, and I'm not sure how genderization works at this point, so I'll clarify when I contact paper about it.
Prices will remain the same regardless of the number of lamps the breeding produces.
 PET TRADES ARE CLOSED.
My pet trades are open when it says open. PLEASE do not PM offers when they are closed.
I will be picky about what I accept, so please be PRECISE about what you are offering/what you want in return. Dont be discouraged if I dont pick you, and feel free to offer again for a different slot.
Note that I probably wont pick RP required pets, unless its a community that I think I could like or the requirements were lifted completely.
When my slot is open, it will stay open for a day or two unless I already have something lined up for it. When this time is open, please PM me exactly what your offering (with a link to your shop, and/or samples) and a completed custom form for what you want in return.
If you initiate the pet trade, you must finish what you've offered first before your pet will posted/grown. If I initiate, I will finish my postings/growings first before expecting your half of things.
Most growths will go:
Lamp (1-2 weeks) >>> Baby (2-4 weeks) >>> Adult (Forever)
These times are not exact, just a rough timeline.
DO NOT contact me about growings unless I am substantially overdue (by at least 2 weeks) and have not contacted you previously.
Growings ARE NOT done in order. They will grow in whatever order I choose them too, but I will attempt to keep siblings in the same growing groups.
Growings are posted in the drop off thread in the guild. Please check there first before any questions on growing certing are asked.
If there are errors in a custom growing (I forgot a marking, etc) or a certing error, please PM me politely about it to deal with it in a case-by-case basis.

Status: Full time coloristPlease be polite and patient! - Self explanatory. I don't like servicing people who are rude/impatient. World is a better place with a smile on your face!
When you can PM me - You can PM me when you are looking for a custom price quote. I prefer keeping price quotes a private matter, so please PM rather than ask in a public thread.
Do not PM me about - If you are waiting for a custom or breeding to be finished, please do NOT PM about it. In RL, I am a substitute teacher, so my schedule can, and usually is very hectic, so asking me if I worked on a custom/breeding yet after dealing with elementary school kids... is do not want xD;;;
Give everyone a chance - You may only take one slot from my customs per month. On a similar note, if you (as the owner) get a breeding, please wait the next 2 months in between before trying for another breeding slot. This means you cannot switch to a new couple each month to get more breedings.
About Complex/Hybrid Palas - You MUST get a price quote before trying for a slot. There is so much variety amongst edits, some being much more complex in my eyes than others, that I cannot merely come up with prices for particular types of edits (IE: I can't go "add __K for this"). I like it when people go into custom slots fully informed as to how much they will be paying.
About Pet trades - If the pet trades are closed, do not PM me about an offer. If pet trades are open, you can PM me about pet trade offers. I am a bit picky, so if I decline, please do not get upset or try to guilt me into the pet trade. And as mentioned above, all pet trades need to be approved by Paperghost.
About Payment - I will only accept pure gold for payment at the moment (it makes it easier to give Paper her % of the earnings). Payment is usually expected within 24 hours of obtaining a slot.
What you ask for is what you get - Please do not change what you want in the middle of working on a custom. I can handle mild color changes/edit changes when I give WIP shots, but I don't appreciate when things are changed or added in upon a whim. If you didn't ask for that horn edit to begin with, you will not get it after I toss you a WIP.
I reserve my rights - I would like to reserve my right to add any rules later on or update any prices as I see fit. Pet Trades: CLOSED (Feb. slot open)

Full growing, marking-based custom. You can request simple hair style edits, but nothing too ornate/detailed please. I only offer these as full growing at the moment due to their relative simplicity in regards to edits.
Complex Pala - 500+K
Price is the starting price for the custom. You can request any variety of hair style edits, clothing or accessory edits, and minor edits to the default characteristics of the Pala design. I will always ask you get a price estimate for the Complex Pala before I agree to doing your custom so that there is no confusion. Can be single-stage-only or full growing, price varying to reflect.
Hybrid Pala - 800+K
Price is the starting price for the custom. You can request any variety of hair style edits, clothing or accessory edits. The main thing differing this from a Complex Pala is the fact that the features of the Pala will be very different from the default design (feathered wings and feather-fluff tail). You may request scales, new wings, large horns, new tail, and many other things. I will always ask you get a price estimate for the Hybrid Pala before I agree to doing your custom so that there is no confusion. Can be single-stage-only or full growing, price varying to reflect. Breeding Price: 25 KBreedings will yield either 2 or 3 lamps (which will be randomized in secrecy once the breeding has been confirmed).
Price will remain the same regardless of the number of lamps created from the breeding.
