What the ********?! I'm so confused.

Alright, so whenever I ask someone about love and that s**t and how to know you're in love and what you do when you're in love they all ways reply something along the lines of "Well, When you love someone you sort of stalk them - to learn everything you can about them" but thats also obsession!

So what happens when you can't have the one you love? how do you express those kinds of feelings, because the person you love could never possibly want to be with you? do you still "stalk" them? and if so wouldn't that be something like lust or obsession?

From other people I hear that you obsess over the person wanting them to be only yours forever and wanting them to only have you, but wouldn't that mean that you could potentially make them unhappy, if so are you really in love with that person or are you just lustful?

-_- maybe I'm just asking the wrong people, but honestly guys, anything you have to say?

I don't really say overprotective, cause i meen i didnt really mind guys hanging around my ex but.....She left me fr a guy she hung around all the time, now I'm stuck loving her from afar and remembering how much she used to love me.
