Maybe you have to 1. Have it a softshell then 2. Prematurely force it out AND THEN 3. Make the premature hatchly sick then on about 1 day left, get so many clicks/v/uv that it matures into an adult? I also want to have one, but I am scared if I neglect it my other dragons might die.

Edit: I found a 'neglected'
According to the dragon;
Father: A 'Christmas' Dragon
Mother: A 'purple' Dragon
So, does that mean it has to be a RARE egg to turn into it?

I'm pretty sure from the last page that you have to somehow neglect a hatchling the right way, and then there's a very small chance that it will turn neglected at around 0.2 days left.

Im conducting tests to get one ATM, but It is over a secret account (it's my brother's so dont scream at me)
PERMISSION WAS GRANTED TO TEST
And if I find out how, I will give a hint. Also, I might give alittle ideas of what NOT to try, for the dragon's survival.

i think the ratio to hatch your egg is 30-10-1 so if you get to that point give or take you can hide your egg

If you guys wants some pointers on how to get one then I could help. I've gotten one already and really, there's been over 30 successes so far. wink Here's what I did to get mine: What I did was grab a CB egg from the Entrance Cave and fogged it until7d were nearing it's end. I unfogged it since I noticed that I had 2eggs that were going to be experimented on the same day and incubated it so then that egg would be lower timed than the other one then refogged it. The stats on the CB balloon egg was at a 1/1/1, when thetime hit around 8-7min left I unfogged it and set it into only 2 ER's,the ND ER site reb made and Egg Rescue HQ's. It turned when the egg was at it's s4 stage and i bounced it to AiFarrah. Bless Aifarrah to catch it for me (I owe you one BIG TIME) and had Ruru catch it back on my scroll. I was surprised when it turned and so without any know of anyone yelling out TURN on the chat I abandoned it. Luckly someone yelled it out before it was bounced. I was like shaking so badly when I finally realized that I finally was able to get myself an ND. And here she is:

Neglected are actually becoming far more common these days, in fact there are afew groups out there dedicated to finding and creating neglecteds, (i think i have a link to one in my sig). And your on the right track in saying that it has to do with ratios, but as i have found with all the experiments i have watched it depends on the egg and how long it has left to live before you view bomb it. Most that i have watched were unfogged at the last 10 min of its life, and often turned in the last minute or 2, thus requiring an alternate method of hatching. so i do know the basics on how to get one, i do not have one yet because i havent felt like setting up an experiment. Now nearly every dragon can turn into a neglected, except for some (idk its mostly the rares and i dont know for sure because most dont experiment on them). And also it doesnt matter where you get the egg from it can be Caveborn, or Abandoned, be careful with one of your own breed eggs because they act weird because their parents are on your scroll. Now you dont have to worry about getting clicks without views, all of the ones that have turned have had a massive overall view moderate unique view and kinda low click amount. your best bet to get one though is to find a group dedicated to getting neglecteds, because after all, we do what we must because we can.

I can vouch for the dedicated groups (they helped me razz ) but to be honest they seem to have.. dispersed? Or at least they aren't nearly as active as they used to be, probably because the special ND ER closed. Have there been any successes, or even turns, since the closure?

There is still one, or 2 that are still dedicated, but yes they have died down right now, seems to have something to do with this recent release. And yes there have been turns since the closures. jJhs, 6Tmh, are 2 of them, but yes there have been turns, actually i do believe both of them survived. Well, the one linked to the picture in my sig is pretty useful, but you kinda have to apply to get in, but that is just to make sure that we get an idea of who all is coming in, to try to avoid snipers when bouncing.
