What are your peeves when it comes to collecting pixel pets?
Mine are:
1. Downtime-- I hate it when DragCave or Valenth go down, leaving me with a lot of red Xs. I know it happens, I know it is inevitable... but I fret over my pets when they've gone to RedXland.
2. People who take my abandoned dragon eggs and then totally ignore them til they die.
3. Having 6 hatchlings when a new egg is released. lol That's just my luck, I guess. I am not quite willing to abandon any of them, and I am certainly not going to KILL any of them. *shudder*
I know they are just pixels and are not in any way alive, but I breed not only to get more eggs out there at off-the-hour times, but to see what happens down the line with the offspring. It's kind of annoying when it gets down to a day and an egg has 2 Views, 2 Unique Views and 1 Click. rolleyes
And I am not going to kill eggs or hatchlings when I could abandon them to be picked up on the off-chance that they'll help someone else out.

Yeah, I agree with getting pissed at people who let the eggs die. I've considered spamming the eggs myself, if I ever release one that I consider special. If it's my 100th drop, for instance, I'm not letting it die.
EDIT: New Pet Peeve LIKE WOAH.
I abandoned a stone egg I bred on the 14th.
It's dead, and it's only the 15th.
Some d**k picked up my egg just to kill it.

One of my major Valenth peeves is when the feed clock dosn't reset and you have to wait a week to feed them.

A new pet peeve... I joined a new site called Creature Cove, similar to valenth or pokeplushies... and you can only feed 4 creatures a day TOTAL and you can only feed your own creatures once ever.
WTF is that all about?
Oh, well. I fed Shadowcat228's today. (I actually kind of look at the personal pages/galleries threads people have set up. mrgreen )
*goes into a dragon cave fit, waiting for a hatchling to GROW UP so she can snatch another egg*
4 hatchlings, plenty of views... one of them is at 3.55 days. So close, and yet... AAAAAAARRRRRRRGH.

AAAARRRGH... I posted a recent set of breedings on the Dragon Breeders Anonymous thread. One of my match-ups was Teliova (purple) x Kirbryn (stone), with 3 resulting eggs-- 2 of the 3 eggs were killed the same day! And they weren't killed by softshell--- one had 1 view/1 unique/1 click, and the other was 3/2/2.
Why not just take eggs from the hourly drop if you're just going to kill them?! Grrrrr! cry
