In the bar, in the very back corner where the haze was thickest, sat a tall, thin man hidden under a black cap. His sharp eyes were scanning right through the gloom for a familiar face, but he made sure to have them be masked by shadow. A hat could hide ears, and a short stub of a tail could be kept under a long coat. Bright Cule eyes, however, were hard to miss, even by the intoxicated.
Bobtail was in position.

Vanessa McMorrow, petite and delicate Superhuman that she was, glided silently through the front door of the bar. She'd only been here a couple times, and only when she went in her fathers place for dealings with the resistance. She had her hood pulled up over her fire colored hair and kept her head down, only because there was a good amount of drunked louts in here, and she didn't want to bother with some intoxicated advances.
Her eyes, sharp gray, glanced rapidfire around the room before she spotted who she came in to see. She glided nonchalantly through the room, before eventually ending up in the back corner. She winked at Bobtail just to show she recognized him.

"Hey there," he said in a low, gruff voice. "You have a good sneak through this crowd?" Bobby slid her a glass, with a classic Cule grin, in case she wanted to order something. "On me, if you wanna drink, sweetheart." Bobby looked into the pretty face before settling right down for business.
"So... what you got for us?"

Nessa smirked and took a chair next to him, waving off the glass.
" Extra parts, weapons to be assembled." She shrugged.
" The usual, really. You didn't ask for anything special this go around." She smiled, tugging on her hood with one tanned hand to make sure it stayed up. She disregarded the 'sweetheart' comment. She and Bobby were just 'friends', she'd shown that too him by giving him a good stern talking to when he'd tried to make too many advances.
That problem with over-friendliness was resolved in a jiffy.
" Dad couldn't come around this time, his injury was acting up again." Her voice was a delicate whisper.

"Oy..." Bobby shook his head at hearing about her father. He had helped them so much, but lately, his daughter had been the messenger. "Well, whatcha gonna do? Gotta rest up. Can't be caught gimpy around here..." For a moment, Bobby shifted uncomfortably in his seat, but his anxiety passed. Coming out into public was always nerve-wracking for him.
"How you been doin', huh? Keeping your nose clean?" It was of course meant as a jest, though the first part was posed seriously. Bobby had always liked Nessa, but he wasn't going to drag her down further. He settled instead on little remarks and quips to get her dander up, always with a charming smile.

Nessa rolled her eyes with a smile and gave him a light punch on the shoulder.
" I've been just find, thank you. I miraculously haven't gotten into trouble for the past week." If Nessa was anything, she was a pure-bred trouble maker, and even though it aggravated her father, her loved her for it.
" How about you? I'm sure you've been kept busy." She smiled at him, finally pushing her hood back to reveal her firey hair.

"Tch, busy ain't the word." His people had been getting sick, making medicine supplies run low. They had finally managed to get their own Diggy bird for transport, but the thing was wild and everyone was afraid. 'Crazy' would have been closer to describing everything.
Bobby once more grew nervous at the sight of her hair. That unnatural brightness would no doubt attract attention, just as his eyes would. Maybe... maybe it was finally time to really let her in on all of this.
"But you should see for yourself. C'mon, Ness, lemme show you the real meetin' place."

The shock on her face was easy to read. Her eyes were delicately wide.
" What, really?" Bobby hadn't even shown her father, so this was really unexpected. She tugged her hood back up.
" Al-alright. If you really want to." They both stood, Bobby leaving the required credits on the table for his drink, before they both headed out. Nessa still couldn't believe it as she trailed silently after him.
