Frosting-Vajcner-Strimple family recipe
1/4 cup butter 2 cups powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1-2 Tablespoons milk (add until mixture is proper consistency)
Add all ingredients into a small mixing bowl and beat until spreadable.
*Add small amounts of milk until proper consistency. You may add a small amount of powdered sugar after the milk if you've added too much.
*Add a few drops of food coloring to a bowl of frosting and stir until blended through.

Good, good, finally someone promoting homemade frostings... I'm going to try it out instead of the usual packed one I buy.

This one looks really good. I'm a really big fan of really sweet stuff like that.
We have one that we use for our Christmas cookies each year, I'll have to see if I can find a copy.

Teayo, this recipe was meant to be used on any cookie or cupcake. You can obviously use food coloring, and the taste can be altered using extracts. Butter rum, mint, chocolate, strawberry and the plain ol' vanilla.
We usually use it on sugar cookies at christmas time.
