We all know that Jim Lee's Superman looks just like his Batman, so I propose a game. Draw, in your style, any well known comic book character. Just a headshot and out of costume. Then everyone else will post who they think you've drawn in white text so that more than one person can guess. The point of the game is to think about the distinguishing features of the characters you're drawing and what makes them recognizable. Here's the sketches that I did yesterday that gave me the idea:

I'll guess, but don't expect me to draw the faces. I'm not artist, and the characters wouldn't be recognizable at all.
exclaim The first is Nightcrawler. The second one looks almost like Frank Quietely's Clark, but I don't think it's supposed to be Superman. I can't figure that one out.

To be brutally honest. If it weren't for the German right by his face and the context of comic books, I would have never said "Nightcrawler." I would have said "A.Jay Popoff."

Lit's lead singer. He's changed his hair somewhat, but he was sporting a near retro look about 6 years ago.
Regardless. It doesn't much look like Nightcrawler.

*Shrug* It was a sketch I did during a break in my children's illustration class without references. Why not try your hand at a couple?
