I definitely went into culture shock when I started college MB
In HS, there was random instances of changing on busses (e.g. my fellow drum major and I had to do that on the way to games and competitions...in no way were we going to ride 2 hrs in skirts...). It never got hot at games, being on Friday night, and most times, peole went straight home after games (yea, my HS was lame, though I miss it now. They ditched the music program 2-3 yrs ago, and closed it after this past year).
In college, first of all, I'd never been to band camp, so that was a new experience. When I get there, none of the drummers are wearing shirts...even the girls (sports bras of course, but no shirt). And you could pick out anyone who had been in corp before, esp with the girls, because they had the rolled down shorts and the sports bras, with white hands (because of gloves...lol). Definite culture shock.
No one really changed out in the open at home games because we actually have a somewhat "underuniform" uniform-- band t shirts and then shorts (long john in the winter of course). But there was definitely a plethera of flesh on away games...lol
Sorry, that ended up being a lot longer than I planned...lol

Man, at our band no one has any shame, especially the guys.
Alot of the girls will change in my locker (Tuba locker) but the guys strip right out in the open. Once, we were changing, and a guy stripped down to his boxers and ran around the band room with everyone screaming "Streaker!"
Even scarier is that it's 180 people in a band room made for 150 people.
