From-Mrs Beeker's Family Recipe Book
*You can double and triple this recipe very easily **My family adds jams and preserves in the center and we roll it. We top it with powdered sugar. But you can add fruit and cream cheese to make it lighter and healthier. Try cream cheese pudding, and raspberries! It's just like at Bob Evans! For a taste of fall use apple pie filling and drizzle with ice cream caramel topping!

Very nice, very simple, very satisfying. But is it a crepe really?

1 Serving? Holy crap that's a fat crepe! I'd make thin ones.

A serving probably makes about 2 crepes actually. I guess when my mom wrote it out she meant serves 1. redface

I'd say that it makes even more. Crepes are supposed to be thin.

Here is mine, I like it because it is even cheaper than most recipes and still tastes just the same. Remember though...oil your pan REALLY well and don't expect the first one of the batch to look nice; it will always come out bad. The others though will be great!
Basic Crepe Recipe
* 1 cup all purpose flour * 1 1/2 cups water * 3 eggs * Pinch of salt (or 1 Tbls. of sugar for dessert crepes)
Pour a 1/4 cup of batter into a hot GREASED or NONSTICK pan that has been sitting on medium heat. While pouring the batter, lift and tilt pan in circular motion so as to thinly coat the entire bottom of the pan. Cook until the wet batter has cooked through (about 30 seconds). Then flip the crepe. Cook for 10 seconds and remove crepe from pan. Lather, rinse and repeat. Enjoy!!
