OK. So I'm your average everyday Warcraft pet collector. One of the only reasons I log on, really. But what's driving me insane is that I was only two or three away from getting all of the non-combat pets anyone I talked to could think of.... and then I see one I've never heard of before. I look it up, and I have to go into Zul'Aman to get it. It's that little blue frog Mojo, maybe you know about it. But I'm under the impression that one needs to be in a raid group to go into Zul'Aman, unless I' m confusing it with somewhere else. I'm not in a raiding guild. And for some reason, I can't imagine any circumstance in which all my friends and all THEIR friends would just decide to drop everything and hang out in there until I got my frog. So bah humbug. gonk

Ever have one of those moments? One of those moments when something goes terribly wrong? It's akin to encountering a pair of ferocious dragons while flying around high in the sky. (Which I've also done. Very annoying.)

It's okay, even if you do go on a weekly basis for months on end (ever since the zone opened) it will never ever drop

get it at level 80 :p

You need frog sticks that drop from the trash in order to get it as well.

What you need exactly is an Amani Hex Stick. You go and use it on the frogs near the pond that is in the middle of the instance. Each one has a chance to be one of a few special people. One, after a bit of waiting for them to talk, will open a chest and you get an emote along the lines of a frog jumping into your pocket.

You could probably ask to buy a guild (who has the place on farm) run and either have them run you through it with the intention of getting the hex sticks and using them all, or have someone inside the run save all the hex sticks and pass them off to you for a fee at the end of that run. The problem is: once you leave the instance (for anything, even death) the hex sticks are lost.

Zul'Aman is pugable, the hex sticks that give you a chance at a mojo drop off trash, fairly frequently.

ZA is a tough dungeon for T4, but if you have a group of Kara geared people it's not that hard. It can even be PuG'd, though I don't recommend that... PuG's suck and if you get into a bad one (which they usually are, most good raiders are attached to guilds already) you're saved for a week.

Good luck. Oh yea, try the /kiss emote on Mojo, it's funny.

I PuG ZA every reset cycle in Kara gear and never have an issue with the 4 animal bosses. I think my server must be unusually useful for raid PuGs.

It's the two dudes at the very end that suck a**. lol

It sucks for Hex Lord if your healing is not on top of it. Especially if they have bad mana regen. Zul'Jin himself is not as hard as Hex Lord imo but we have awesome melee dps for that third phase (it is rumored Chuck Norris refused to do Zul'Jin because of phase three). But honestly Zul'Jin is a very fun fight.

Didn't think I'd touch this topic again, but it seems to be the best place for yet another rant.

There is a Tiny Emerald Whelplng in the Alli auction house on Silvermoon server. And I couldn't afford the insane buyout price of 5K, so I had to bid. And just before I logged off, someone in trade channel was asking about buying one. And there's nothing I can do about it, and I've been trying to get that @#%^$#^ thing for MONTHS.

WORST KIND OF TORTURE. xp

Yume wo mite Namida shite Kizutsuite mo . . .
There are a lot of pets which I haven't/can't get that makes me sad. sad

Murky, for example, always breaks my heart.

Or the holiday pets I never got. Like the Sinister Squashling. I ran that damned instance TO DEATH and never saw it drop.

And I missed this year's Children's Week so I couldn't get those two non-combat pets (I heard you could get one each from the Outland and Azerothian children).

Then there's the Tyreal minipet from the card game! Last time I checked eBay that card was way out of my price range. crying

And drop rates hate me, so I've never been able to get the farmable pets. Q.Q Sigh sigh sigh.

Tyrael =/= TCG reward

I think he was a Worldwide Invitational goodie-bag prize.

Aye, Tyrael was part of the goodie bag for the World Wide Invitational in France, actually making it even more rare and expensive to obtain than if it were from the TCG.

And I know the pain of Murky. I have two on my account on my old ally characters that will never get to see my main horde characters even with the change to Bind on Account.

I've got 3 Murloc Suit cards that I still don't know the wherabouts of.

I did however find a Black Whelp pet a couple weeks back when leveling with my friend in Dustwallow. Funny thing is, I thought they could only drop from the Badlands whelps and even mentioned such to him not half an hour earlier. Best lie I've ever told.

*clears throat* OK, everyone who doesn't feel like hearing some serious gloating, stop reading this now.

I GOT THE WHELPLING! YES! HAHAAAAA! I only spent 3K on it and now I'm broke and I'll never get epic flight training, BUT THAT'S OK!

Now I have all 4, and they're so awesome to have. biggrin
