Raven nodded softly, a bit of a pleased look, hidden beneath her painted face. Everyone had their own life's, their own individuals that they cared for outside the family bonds. Raven was even starting to have a few that she cared about, her new fluffy friend Quin, strolled through her mind. She cared for him. They shared something similar. A darkness, that was never really far from them, but that they never really talked about either. And she felt she could really trust him, he was fast becoming a good friend.
Her mind drifted, to her few new friends. She almost forgot who she was with!
She smiled again, a soft and gentle smile, to her parents. "The past has come and gone, we cant change what's been done. And the future, isnt here yet. The present is whats important." she smiled again, at her parents, as Crow wrapped a wing around his beloved mate. It has been a long time, since Raven saw her father so content, so...at peace. "In the present, we're together for the moment...lets not waste it on what ifs" she nuzzled her mother lightly, and then her father, before stepping to the side to give them their moment of privacy. She leaned against her father, on his free side.
Indeed, Crow could not be happier.
Raven too wondered, if her parents would ever have more kids. Raven might like a brother, but then she remembered what Chaos had told her, and she flinched. She didnt know how her father would handle that. Raven wasnt as naive to think her father indestructible, she knew he had weaknesses, had faults. He cared too much, and he was sensitive about what, and who, he loved most. A son might be too much for him.
But still, Raven wondered.
Which led her to another thought. Would she ever have a family of her own? Was she strong enough to endure. She stared at the ground, her brown eyes glazed as her normally quiet mind, raced and whirled with all these things she'd never thought of before.
