Gice him 2 herbs everyday or if you have a cow give him milk(His favorate thing).
Just give him a couple of herbs everyday. I married him Spring 2 of my second year. If you visit him everyday then it should be easy to get his heart level up.
And as for the topic there right the best way to marry him quick is give him lots of milk... he loves it and makes a comment on how people aren't drinking enough milk.
Anyways. I don't know if it's possible to do it over the weekend. (unless you play non stop) you should at least be able to marry him by the end of the first year if you give him a ton of milk.

You know what also helps? Visit him every single day with herbs or Milk for him and make sure to have him check you out too. It earns you extra points from him and it seems like you get him to like you faster! Try it! That's how I married him! and yes it does take awhile!
