I first saw Mr. Gray in Diamonds are forever. He played the infamous Blofeld. I found out later he also appeared in You only live twice, but as a different character.

Of course, he played in Rocky Horror. He often said he never saw the finished film and did not seem to connect with the cast as his scenes were all filmed separate.

One of my favourites, of course, was the Judge in Shock Treatment. I had to track down a ragged vhs copy to first see the film and was warned more than once it was NOTHING like rocky horror. I watched it and did like the film. The songs are quite good and sexually charged too without being too over the top like rocky.

I think this is a great topic.
I dont remember seeing Mr. Grey in anything other than RHCP and ST, i think because i went thru my Bond obssession when i was about 8.
But i love his performance in both films that i remember him in.
In RHCP he pretty much ties the film together, and is the only "proof" or "believer" that anything actualy happened, other than Brad And Janet themselfs. And it takes a truely great actor to portray the character the way he did.
And he is brilliant as a "main side actor" in ST. He has his own little story, mild reacting with the "main" story, yet his side of it is as intereasting as the main story. Which again takes a truely great actor to portray.

Charles Grey was amazing. I got into Shock Treatment a little bit after the local Best Buy opened a couple of years ago. I was browsing through the movies, saw that, and nearly died of shock on the spot. No pun intended. It was hard enough finding Phantom of the Paradise (in fact, a friend from Canada had to send that to me), I thought Shock Treatment would be just as baneful to find, but I was pleasantly surprised when it was not. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that it is, in fact, practically made for all die-hard Rocky Horror fans. I've seen both films countless times, I cannot get enough of it, and I doubt I ever will.

In my English Class we're watching a film of the play The Tragedy of Julius Caesar and to my surprised delight, Mr Charles Grey plays Julius Caesar!

Though no one in my class knows who he is, I made note of it on our first quiz.

(To make sure we were paying attention, we had to write down ten things from the film, my first answer was "Charles Grey IS Julius Caesar.")

I loved his dancing on the desk.

He is so over-the-top in his austerity, playing the role to comical genius in both films.

"What'll I pin this on?"

"Faith, Betty. But make sure it's your own."
