um its not either. its kinda hard to explain. in aussieland we're all kinda brought up with it. its just always there. well you play on a oval and the idea is for your team to kick as many goals as they can to win the game within the 4 quarters the games time is split into. it used to be incredibly violent with punch ons on feild all the time! but thanks to those stupid laws they can't do that anymore because they could reallly be sacrificing their career. oh and everyone hates the umpys! (umpires) grand final day (just happened. unfortunatly my team got knocked out in the semi's) is huge. you have to watch it. you sit down with a beer (traditional) and scream at the players running about on tv who cant hear you to kick the stupid goal thats taking forever. this is really the only australian thing i really take part of mainly because of the beer although this year it was vodka. it brings people together! usually in hospital... fans are violent! i've seen many normal people turn into monsters.
