i saw an ad by gibson in my motor trend about guitars and it had a vintage explorer next to the ad, so i read it and hear quotes"a guys dad bought him a new explorer in 58. it looked like this but it had the bigsby tremello on it

The person that bought must have two much money for his/her own good or they are a collector,I've seen explorers from all through the 50's and 58's don't ussually sell for more than about 10,000, so yeah. And ussually those are like mint condition. But expolores are the shiz

i sniped the add out and i keep it on my wall here, it looks like its in mint condition, a more detailed verson of the story is the kids dad bought it for him to learn to play and he nvr did but kept it in his attic, took it out one day had it aprased, sold it, and retired

quite literaly the guitar in the picture looks like its right off the asembly line cept for a lil corosion on the pickup covers

it looks like this as a matter of fact, and slash would have the money to pay 611,000$ for one to
