Hlyn ((Just a quick look at the calcs, must be missing something... Starting at 11 HP for Naamah, as no heals had been allocated yet, but even so, would bump her up to 16 HP with just the 1 heal at the start of this round.)) Hlyn Still got my heals in reserve too, 5 for Naamah, 5 for Varnis at the end of this round. Heals at the start of the next, 5 for Naamah, 5 for Varnis.)) ((Naamah should have started the round at 21 (or 16 since the end of the last round already happened and the High Druid didn't get his SA) HP, had the rest fine, but I only see 14 damage flying her way. Should leave her at 2 or 7 HP.)) ((She started with eleven. Meaning that the first heal that you spoke of would happen at the end of the round... after damage calculations. Meaning she died before being able to get healed. That's why she was taken down. With the heals at the end of the last round and the beginning of this one then yes she would have twenty-one but she never got the chance to live long enough to see that through.))

((Well in the interest of moving this along, it's fine either way. He's dead this round. Unless he is special and gets to heal his wounds before damage, such as before. Could we get some clarification in the rules threads containing heals? All the heals seem to carry this bolded item in them: Quote: Healing: Heal any other character 5 damage per round. Occurs either before your target has taken any damage, or after they have taken all the damage they will take that round. Would cut down on these confusing instances. That said, Lilith attack and special on the Druid. Heal to Varnis. I expect he dies before he can do any healing.))

Hp: 18/30 Attack: High Druid (4) Action: Shield bash: High Druid (6) (Unless he takes Lethal damage, then Deflect, (-3 damage, I think...)) Dice: Attack (2) Ap: 5/2 Mp: 0 (Mp/Ap convert)
((Rp post later, don't feel like doing it now. I think healing should be done before the damage, to prevent people from getting killed so easily.))

((The reason behind making it a choice of the player is so that, if a character needs it they can get healed before damage. But on the flip side if you choose to you can wait till that character gets hit and then heal that damage, freeing up spells or abilities for later.))

The reason Naamah bit the dust was because Hyln's designated heals reached her after the damage had already knocked her out. Not because I just wanted to kill you all off...I'm not that mean I don't think...))

((Last round's heal at the end, this round's at the start. As I had said earlier. But whatever, is the High Druid dead? Or does he heal up all the damage at the start again?))

((Nope, he's out of potions. He'll bite the dust this round. I'll do you all a favor and call him caput, since he won't be able to deal enough damage this round to kill any of you.))
Lilith, angered by Naamah's return to their vessel, attacks the High Druid in a fit of rage. Varnis takes advantage of the distraction, slamming his shield into the druids back and launching him into Lilith's waiting claws. The druid stumbles back into the legs of the great Goliath, breathing heavily through his many wounds. But he still manages to break out a half-cocked smile. He speaks in that foreign tongue again, then places his hand on the statue. The many carved runes begin to glow, though the glow quickly fades from the arms and legs, so that only the chest remains alight. The cavern shakes as the thing begins to move in an attempt to escape his prison. Then the wailing begins...it starts as a distant sound, implacable and foreign, then builds till there is no doubt in your mind: the half-dead men and women above ground have awoken, and they are in great pain. The druid continues to laugh through it all, till his body begins to glow the same color as the golem. The glow is then torn from his body, and travels through the many runes to the very core of the thing. The cavern is now well on its way to collapsing when a large gust of wind surrounds you all in dust...
As it settles, you realize that you are outside, gazing upon the central monument as it lashes back and forth in an attempt to shake the many vines and several tons of earth from its form. Screaming fills the air as you see the forms of the townspeople, all very much alive (and dying quickly) at this point. Two ghostly figures stand before, one is the woman whom you mercifully killed in the guard tower, and the other is the man whose body you found in the attic, the true Corollan Lothorian. "You are the last hope this place has for rest..." The two say in unison, "Our power is not enough in these forms to do any good by ourselves, so we will lend you what strength we can together." They both raise their hands to the sky, and Karythelia shines white with holy radiance as she is awakened. Varnis, Coralie, Lilith and the now returned Naamah are all similarly healed. The two then join hands, as they turn to face the golem...right as the first of its arms break free.
"Fools..." the thing rumbles. You notice that it doesn't speak though, and that you seem to 'feel' what it is trying to say more than hear its words. "We may not have finished the runes enough to control it without sacrificing ourselves to do so, but with my imminent death I didn't really need to fear that did I? I'll use the souls of these people to fuel my power for eternity. And I'll start by using them to destroy you!"

Looking at the two, Varnis listens to them speak. "I will make sure their crime against this place doesn't go unpunished. They will pay for the pain they brought everyone."
With that, Varnis turned the the golem. "You may have no reason to fear death at this moment, but you will fear death when I am done with you! You will pay for your crimes against these people. Your life will mean nothing once this 'rubble' of a thing is destroyed, and the souls are set free while yours rots for eternity!"
Flipping his sword, he got into an offensive stance, and started his attack on the golem. Running towards it, he took his sword, and tried to slash deep into the creature's mid section and standing in front trying to block its path from getting to the others.

Not wasting anytime, the bard was right on Varnis' tail as he started the offense. Kary strummed her opening chords and leaped right in.
