This forum used to be a place I enjoyed and liked to be. Lately, all that's happened is people don't seem to really think or even want to bother looking at a new perspective. You can't have debates because it's one view versus another but neither sharing a single idea. You have set up a place for debates that have no end and useless talks. I'm leaving this guild because you have yet to learn how to really debate and how to actually talk to a fellow being. There's no real reason to ever return to such a place nor for a place to even exist. But not of these words will ever really be seen in their full truth, because everyone is petty and small. I give up my position and all ties to this guild. Best of luck, but you don't deserve it.

Calm Down dude this the internet.
But, if you want to leave so be it.
I wouldn't advise it, because it is something very petty why you are leaving too.
I have looked at things with a New Perspective, with you Dun get me wrong. For an Example: I saw that Biden Was a Pretty good Choice For Obama, Biden got up a peg or two because of you.
You Have showed me your Perspective on other things as well, as Have I.

The Way you gotta look at debating is like Playing the Game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney on the DS, or Harvey Birdman for wii, PS2, PSP.
You Present your case, and then you show evidence to 'rub in the face of your opponent'
Present your case and try to strengthen it with evidence.
There is tons of evidence on the internet.

I have to kind of agree with Will...of late, a lot of the threads in here have turned into ridiculous, semantic, meaningless tangents. I've basically avoided any thread bigger than a page or two because I simply can't keep up with whatever silly turn the conversation has taken.
I'm not ready to leave though...I'll still jump on new threads before they get dragged down. Maybe there'll still be some glimmer of intellectual discourse before the semantics come in again. And maybe the people here responsible for this will pause before posting and ask, "does this really add to the discussion, or does it just clutter up the thread?".

Damn, just damn. Though this may have no meaning now, the arguments of yesterday were a farce, indeed. As for this guild having gone down the deep end already, I think that's just jumping the gun, but hell, to each his own. WillWintter, you were a solid member of this guild and you will surely be missed, at least by my part. In your honor I will try to avoid semantics, and try to debate on something else. But anyways as the quote from Star Trek goes, "Live long and prosper."
