I can't because I'm upset. I had a doctor's appointment today and my old a** mother walked in there with me, all "Are you feeling anxious that school's starting?" and "Do you feel you have any problems you need to talk to the doctor about? No?! Well I think you do." And then went on about my angsty teenage self. That angsty teen stuff she always goes on about pisses me off the most more than anything, the rest I'm just gonna talk about because but they aren't really annoying me but that does. Because how would she feel if I went up to her and accused her of being a menopausic c**t whether she was acting foolish or not?
And the doctor had me strip into that hospital-like clothing again, don't know why, old doctor never had me do it. He was like "lose everything but the underwear" and when I said he didn't he acted surprised, which surprised me, because first time I saw him he checked my back with no underwear on and that robe thing and like freaked out about seeing my a**. Anyways, I thought my back curvage was like 9 degrees, but I asked him and he said 14. I think he said 14, not sure. That seems really big and he said before when I got the test that it isn't that big of a curve, and he said something about me having two exams for my back and I'm pretty sure I've only had one. So I'm not taking that for word, but in the navy, I hope that that won't be a problem. I planned on asking my mom to take me to a recruiter's office (I can't drive alone yet), but the way she acted in the doctor's office there's no way in hell I'm going anywhere where she can run her mouth. I've looked it up online and got no good answer as to if I should tell recruiter about my scoliosis or not. I was told it was minor before, now I'm being told it was 14 degrees, so someone either lied to me then or is lying to me now. And they do there own exams, and then again at MEPS, don't they? So there's probably no need to bring it up. But on yahooanswers people said if it's less than 10 degrees you're fine, others say less than 15 degrees, some say you can get a waiver, some say you can't, so I should probably just go in and see for myself. I'd feel wierd using a friend just to take me there but I think I might ask some of they can. I'll just take them out to eat first or after. >.>
Edit:= Not that I expect any of you to read this it's really just for me to make me feel better (it really worked, I can read and stay focused now), but I got curious and looked it up more and apparently there's 3 different types of scoliosis (no idea what one I got) and the lowest degree that's disqualifying is 20 and even if I did have a curvage of 14 I don't think it would jump that much in such a short time. >.>
