Amanos are good, very beautiful and artistic, but the Manga gives you more of a everyday look and feel to D.

I cant say i have a favorite, cause any good picture of D is, well good lol. I have a growing collection on my computer, way too much to upload and post. XD

What i do want to see are good D pictures but with facial expressions. Like a D "Oh s**t" moment or the anime fountain of tears. Things like that, lol. Out of character things for him. Like a damn smile.

Or god forbid him laughing. But then i think the universe would explode, or he would.

Forget the facial expressions what would it even sound like if he laughed?? eek

Makes me wonder if when he was just a little kid was he normal? Did he smile and laugh and stuff? Oh how I want to know.

I have a feeling if he laughed, it would sound really, really disturbing. I mean, if you never laugh how would you even know how? D:
Or maybe because he's, you know, the son of you know who (don't want to give spoilers away to people who don't know..) it would be "BWUAHAHA!!!"
That thought makes me smile..

You know ya got some really good points there. Maybe he doesn't know how to laugh. xD

I think I nearly choked on my drink reading your second comment though. I can just imagine him making that sort of laugh it's creepy and funny at the same time. If that's how he laughs then i can't blame him for now doing it. xD

Yeah, or maybe he snorts when he laughs, too. "BWUAHA-SNORT-"

I think people would think different of him if someone like him did that. xD

I'm sure he would be jobless and probably become a hermit with a talking hand. Which actually doesn't have a parasite in it at all.. it left a long time ago. But he still talks to it.

I love all of Amano's works. I love so much that I actually wrote a eight page report on him for an art survey class.

In the class, we had to duplicate one of the artist's pieces. The above was the piece I chose. Let's it was good but needs improvement.

I adore Amano's art. I even have Coffin, the Vampire Hunter D artbook with all of his pieces he did for the series.

What always struck me was how his works are always simple, yet elegant. If you look at the lines of each painting, they're incredibly simple and look like sketches or just doodles. But Amano is able to make them seem ethereal with color, and with just shading in his ink works.

I remember once thinking 'Wow, Amano's style looks pretty easy to duplicate.' I bet you can imagine the exasperation I faced when all my sketches ended up looking like child doodles compared to his work. xd

If I ever write a novel series, I want him to do the artwork. Honestly, I could die happy just writing one short story if he agreed to do the art.
