Why?: In the end, Kain is a truly evil b*****d. Here and there I'll play him as a good guy, or even a hero. More often than not, though, he'll be a neutral party that only cares about watching others suffer. The misfortune of others really makes him smile, and so long as others writhe he shines. The little bit about serving Beelzebub (yay Lord of Flies?) doesn't really apply, but all else really does in the end, so there you go.

Why?: Hiro is very much a christian/catholic fanatic given his upraising in the Vatican. This song is obviously just the Lord's Prayer (English name of the song) but there's a beat to it you can only get from listening to it. Even the English version carries the same strong feel, but given Hiro's upbringing away from the Americas and such, I figured the foreign version would work a bit better. While I wish there was a full Latin version, German still works a bit more. And no, I am not Christian. Or religious. But I do have beliefs. Let it die there.

Why?: Setsumei's now more or less a Fallen Angel that despises God, but at the same time sees no purpose in war. This song could be taken many ways, but I take it as more or less a rant towards God for his own follies from Setsumei. It's become his new anthem, and slowly it's allowing me to sink in to the Angel's mind set, which honestly creeps me out.

Why? : Partly to hint at Lilane's abilities and also to show that deep down although she is already some what of a free spirit that goes by her own rules with a soft, commanding, and kind nature, she has a selfish side to herself. That portion of herself is tied to her love, particularly for the man she is in love with but can't confess to. Deep down what she wants is find a place where societies rules won't matter and they can be together, but she knows it's not going to happen so she continues to stay distant.

Why?: The problem with playing a character like Panderas is really his complexity. It's often very hard to understand his motivations and where he's coming from, even though I share the same philosophy on religion as he does. Believe it or not, the pure scientist Panderas does believe God exists, a Christian god for that matter, but he wants to prove God exists...utterly needs to. Not only for himself, but for those around him. And the reason Panderas wants so desperately to believe in God is because of all the sins he committed in his past. It wasn't until around the time he met Draega's uncle that he truly changed for the better and Panderas turned to religion to try and redeem himself of all the wrong he has done. This song is great for trying to remember that about him, though it's still quite hard to get into his head.

Why?: Okay so unlike my other characters Fredrick's not that hard to figure out. All his life he's had to fight against people's view of him. Always trying to fit into a society that has no place for him and which he doesn't wholly accept. Still he has hope and he still has that lingering obsession with that little girl who saved him from self-destruction so long ago. All he wants is to take her away and show her that he's not that little boy anymore, but he still loves her as much as he did then.
