I'd say Goblet used to be my favorite but then I read HBP and now that one is my favorite. I cried at the end (imma wuss!) and I like how alot of things come full circle in the book.

Harry first met Draco in the robe shop in PS, he sees Draco in the robe shop at the beginning of HBP

Harry left his cloak at the top of the astronomy tower in PS, and he left it again at the end of HBP ( i think, someone wanna verify?)

He didn't get to play his final match in PS, he didn't get to either in HBP

there are some other ones but i can't think right now, ANYone wanna add to it?

Goblet of Fire! I loved the tournament.

Half-Blood Prince.
Partly because Harry is obsessing over Draco, and my slashy fan girl side is squeeing with joy (yes yes i know, not a romantic obsession, but hey lol) and partly because Harry is getting darker as a character. I like that he is not so innocent anymore, because for me that is more realistic.

My favorite Harry Potter book would have to be the Chamber of Secrets. I love this book because of this quote. "It is our choice that show what we truly are, far more than our abilites."

Hmmm. I like all of them. I love the start of the Chamber of Secrets. And I like the end of The Half-Blood Prince.
My favourite is The Order of the Phoenix because Harry becomes less innocent. He stresses out at the teachers all the time. I also love how they have the D.A. and then Harry and Cho kiss heart 4laugh

Mine is between PoA and OoP. Love both of them. OoP has to be the better one (for me) because I love Snape's memory, because Harry got to see what his parents were like and Sirius and Remus (Peter can go rot, no one care about him). PoA because it's just a great book (*cough* even though the movie sucked *cough*).

Half Blood Prince, I believe that the books made a sort of double sided arch. Looking at it from my point of view, you have book #'s 1-3 that in my oppinion are all base books, as in: They build up who Harry is, why he is who he is, and how he came to be who he is. These are also the books that tell much about his past or I should say, his parents and close friends pasts. Books #'s 4-6 are now what I believe to be present and future books. What I mean by this is that for example in Number 4, Harry has the Tri-Wizard Tournament to endure. This in effect shows harry that he is no longer just dealing with Lord Voldemort, but his followers as well. This is the turning point from Harry's past, to his inevetable future. Book 5 was also a turning point in that Harry is no longer part of a minority that believes Voldemort is alive, but he becomes almost a sort of leader of the now Majority that "Know" he's alive. Finally in book 6 Harry realizes what he has to do, what must be done, what will come to pass no matter what he does. He finds out about Lord Voldemorts past and in doing so he finally realizes that he is the one who must destroy the evil that is Lord Voldemort. Of course this is just my oppinion, so feel free to criticize with a fine toothed comb.

Order of the Phoenix would be my favorite. Maybe it's because I was older, and better able to understand the subtleties. But I think it's also because for the first time I really hated a character, Umbridge. It made the book more real (which I'm not sure is a good thing...)
