Even though so far i havent tried the updated many people on forums say the shooting star is defintally not worth it. apparantly it makes you wait over an hour just so you can find it. the penguin thing too many people have trouble with the clues and well up to 15 points a day seriously.. the only good thing i see here is the circus unless the exp reward from penguin thing is good.
Well im done posting my thoughts what do you think of the update?

I'm not members, but i think the update isn't so good. The circus just gives good costumes. I like the penguins too just because they give you 6.5k Per point torwards xp or money, and the shooting star is not really worth it.

The whole point of it is to give you a little variety and change while doing something that can be repetative and boring. Why does every update have to be the next step to getting the fastest XP or GP in the game? What's the point of that?

Why does every update have to be the next step to getting the fastest XP or GP in the game? What's the point of that? I agree. I am not looking for fast exp or gp... i am looking for something fun, or kick a** rewards. Plus, I don't want runescape to go soft on it players....totally.

Meteors:
Description: A large meteor of varying size lands randomly in rs.
Rewards:The finder gets 10x the level of the meteor. Plus if you have 200 Stardust when it finally blows up, you get around a 60-100k reward.
How to find: House telescopes.
Minigame value: Low, fair mining experience
Penguin Hide and Seek
Description: The KBP are sending agents around rs to spy on humans.
To start: Talk to Larry in ardougne zoo
Recommendations: I recommend completing 'Cold War' before doing this event, You get twice as many points.
How to Find: This used to be hard... until one individual made it easy.
Go to world 60 the unofficial penguin hunters world. Join Clan riods2525
this clan is made for penguin hunting. And with a vast array of teleport devices. You can get all 10 a week n less then an hour or two.
Rewards: NEVER EVER GET THE MONEY, the exp value is insane and would be wasted. You get 25x the level of the skill you are leveling..per point. So it your prayer is at level 40 and you have 10 points. You get 1000exp per point or 10k exp for 10!!!
Trust me I went from 43 prayer to 52 prayer from Penguin Hide and seek. In only two weeks! (note: your only allowed 10 penguins a week)
