General Guild Announcements
Hey FEF! Sorry we skipped a bunch of newsletters, things have been a little hectic around here! We've said goodbye to many members in the last few months. It's been a hard time for FEF, but things can only get better!
We made a new thread in the main forum called "Ask a Crew". There, you can post whatever you want the crew to discuss together to formulate an answer to a question, problems, whatever. Many may just say "So pm a crew member", but this thread is a fast way to make sure all the crew members get to see the issue at once instead of you only getting the opinion of one of us. We just thought it was another way to help us help you have a good time. <3 That thread is [X] there!
In rather useless news, we moved the newsletter archive from the crew forum to the chatterbox! This way, you guys can read the old ones for fun! We have no idea why it stuck around in there, but now it's out there for you guys to see. Also! You probably noticed we're trying something different using the Guild announcements! Like telling you when we have a newsletter out so that EVERYBODY can read it! We put a poll at the top of this thread so that you can tell us if you like it. (OH and yeah we know about the non-working link in the guild announcement! It won't be like that in the future, that was Nino's fault, sorry!)
We are working on a new rules thread and will likely be working on getting FEF reorganized and getting participation up in other subforums in the coming month. If you have any ideas or imput please be sure to share them with us~
In light of the recent loss of two of our crew, Nils and Heath, our very dear and brave SilverBellsAbove has taken on the daunting task of taking care of our character list. Good luck, Skrimmy!
The entire crew will be working together to pump out a newsletter every month from now on, probably officially headed by Amelia!
We would like you to evaluate the crew! The thread has been up for ages but we haven't gotten enough entries yet. For more information on telling the crew anonymously what you think of us, go Here!

NPC Creation Project
We the crew would like to remind you that anybody is still allowed to create a personal NPC, and we also encourage it! Making one creates a definite way at playing a villain or other event figure- something the crew have been told you want.
For the next event, think about submitting an NPC for Sentria or Adliana in particular. Or, go a different route by making an entry for Siegell's mercs- contestants will be facing off during the next event to see who gets in.

Event News
Endgame is up in the event we never ended! If we don't end that we can't really move on... So get over there and fight-y fight fight! If you want to save Eyris and the town then you'd better get going! The crew isn't sure if we're going to have any Christmas games yet. If we do, the deadlines will probably be sometime in the middle of December okays? Okays!
And we're leaning toward doing a secret santa~!

Fire Emblem Announcements
Unfortunately, there still doesn't seem to be much news on the new "Heroes of Light and Shadow" game to be released for the DS. If you haven't already heard, it is to be the sequel to Shadow Dragon.

Opinions
ThePersonInFrontOfYou
You know what I noticed a while ago? I've been here for just over a year, and not once have I ever heard anyone utter the phrase "I fight for my friends."
That's awesome.

Interview With a Member
Magegirl Nino: This is your captain speaking! It’s time for a member interview~ I interviewed Manic Martini, who we call FD. So, FD, your character is Fire Dragon. How did you end up picking him for a character?
Manic Martini: I ended up picking FD because all the characters I wanted were taken, and no one had claimed a final boss as their character at that point, much less a dragon. So I figured, "If I'm not going to get someone I wanted, I'm going to get something original and innovative"
It's REALLY worked out though, since I essentially got to create his character for RP purposes and provide a history for him. If I had gotten some of the characters I initially wanted, I probably wouldn't have nearly as much fun RPing.
Magegirl Nino: That's pretty cool that it worked out that way. You got a lot of leeway to kind of make him your own. How long do you figure you've been in FEF?
Manic Martini: Wow... it's definitely been a few years now. Definitely more than two full years, though I forget my exact joining time. Ninian was Ursula, Ilyana was active, etc... It's pretty close to three years, I think.
Magegirl Nino: Wow I don't remember when Ninian was Ursula. That was probably way back when I was still making linkcards. Ha! FEF's been here about four years and you've been in three. So do you have a favorite memory from back in the day?
Manic Martini: The creation of the Host Club, probably. Even before it was introduced into the RP. That thread was a ton of fun.
Magegirl Nino: Sweet. I myself never got to read and participate in a lot of Host Club activities, but I do remember during the Halloween party when the Host Club had that dance. What was your favorite Fire Emblem game and how did you get into it, if you remember?
Manic Martini: My favorite game in the series is probably FE7 - you can't beat excellent plot and gameplay combined. Plus it was my first FE game. FE4 and FE10 are both close behind it though. I got interested in the series entirely by accident, actually. I had traded some GBA games with some schoolmates when I was in middle school and at one point ended up with a cartridge of Fire Emblem (and it's worth noting I learned about Fire Emblem BEFORE playing SSBM).
Now I'm definitely addicted to the series though, having played FE4-11.
Magegirl Nino: FE7 is my favorite too~ You traded games? That sounds like a great way to play new games, but I wouldn't have wanted to trade my games away as a kid. X3 So for the record, if this isn't too personal, how old are you now?
Manic Martini: Yeah. It's how I got back in to Pokemon, too, during Gen 3 actually. I'm 18 right now. I give away plenty of personal information to FEFers xD.
Magegirl Nino: Pokemon is awesome!! 18, hm? So you plan to stay with FEF for a long time coming, right? ^^
Manic Martini: Certainly! As my life gets busier and busier the level of involvement I can invest if FEF will go down, but I DO make efforts to remain active at all times.
Magegirl Nino: =D Great~ Since you'll be around, where do you want to see FEF going in the future? What do you want to see happen?
Manic Martini: I'd really like to see FEF revive a number of its already existing but generally ignored subforums (like the Mature Debate forum, which I've tried to revive a number of times, but the Strategy Sharing and Character/Plot subforum), as well possibly movements such as Tier List topics (common on other FE sights, but against the tastes of most FEFers unfortunately). I'm also dying to see the FE Hack Gale and Mallow are working on finished. And I really think FEF needs to examine its infrastructure so it can continue to be a successful guild years from now - basically go over and revamp all the rules. Extremely time consuming, but I think doing so would be a good way to prevent future 'drama' and ensure FEF's survival after most of its current members have moved on and the population is people who haven't necessarily joined yet. But that's something that would be very long term and takes a lot of time.
Magegirl Nino: Ahh. It sounds like you have a lot of great ideas, and I've really been wanting to get down to business on some of those topics. =) Ooh and I can't wait for the hack either! I hope they do end up getting it done, as that will be very exciting for FEF. Personally, I hope they use the FEF theme song in there as well.
Manic Martini: That would be awesome if they manage to insert the theme song
Magegirl Nino: So I think that's all I have! Any other thoughts you'd like to get out there while we have everybody reading?
Manic Martini: Stay FEFabulous, FEF IS an extended family, and if anyone ever needs someone to talk to, hit me up.
Magegirl Nino: <3 Okay! Thanks for chatting with me~
Manic Martini My pleasure~

Interview With a Character

Skrimir:
Grr, they sent me out here to gather word for their 'newsletter,' though I don't care for the idea... Idiot Hawk King.... Who to ask some basic questions...?
YOU! You there! Small beorc girl. *flips through census book* I hear your name is Clara. Answer these questions, and I will leave you be.
One: When did you arrive here in Learania? You are so small I barely noticed.
Two: What made you want to fight? It does not make much sense to me, as you seem breakable.
Three: Er... What do you do to amuse yourself...?
Four: ... Is Derrin really a goat...? Why would the Hawk King write that in the...? Grr, just answer the question.
Five: What is your philosophy on lifephilosophy on life? ... Why are you looking at me like that? It is a legitimate question I mean to ask. Answer it.
Six: What do you think of current events in Learania at this time?
Seven: Do you have a favorite food? *stomach grumbles*
I don't care to ask you an eight, nine, or ten. What are your answers, small girl?
... *mumble* Ihatemypenmanship. *gets out small notebook to take down answers*
Clara: *Is a little amazed by Skimir's size* You're even bigger than Rajin. Wait you want to ask me some questions? Ok then?
One: I was born in Learania. ...and I'm not that small
Two: Well my parents were those who protected others. So I'm following in my parents footsteps
Three: Um...I'm really sure I shouldn't be telling you that.
Four: Derrin is not a goat and I will cut the next person who asks.
Five: My philosophy on life? Ummmmm....I'm not sure.
Six: Ummmm....well. I don't know if I should really answer that question. I'm really sure that might...wait why am I scared, I'm a protector of innocents (Kinda) I don't like it! I wish the nobles of Mordache and Sentria would just die!As well as some of the nobles here...
Seven: my favorite food? That's is an easy answer. I love meat. I've gotten better in hunting for meat with my sword.
Eigh-wait, you don't care to ask me more questions? Well that is mean and my name is Clara! -pouts a little-
Clara: Queen Melethia Dagon
