Hyde sat near a small pound. He had not seen either of his two friends in a long time. He was getting tired of being alone all the time. He was loyal to the boy he had agreed to mate, though as he grew his mate remained a child.
Sitting across Hyde's tight pants was a guitar, at which his fingers were working. He was playing a sad sounding song and his voice sang gently along with it. He was looking into the water his eyes playing tricks on him from time to time with the colors but it was still beautiful.

"Ma! Ma! Sis! C'mon!" Louis ran ahead of Anne-stella, who was gently carrying the small purple vase which held the freshly emerged Lotusmon. He waved back at the two of them before diving into the lake.
"Louis, be careful!" Anne called to him, taking a seat by the lakeside and setting down the vase. Lotusmon poked her small head out of the vase and sniffed idly at the air. It was a nice, serene day. This she was glad for.

Hyde could hear someone shouting from a long ways off. He raised his head up from the small pound to look in the direction of the sound. It was still a ways off. He had not heard living seconds in a long time.
He stopped playing his song and looking at his guitar wondered if he should go over and try and make friends. He flicked his wings to test them. The feathers had long since covered the layers of thrones that were hidden in them. He could still feel them but they did not bother him as much now.
