Okay this could turn out to be quite long. But I hope not so I dont bore you guys. Anyway here's the bare basics as to not get you confused
My BF (Colton)
My BF's friend (Brandon)
Me... (Me)
Anyway, Me and Colton started dating last wednesday or thursday. Last January we dated and Brandon started rumors that I was going around saying Colton raped me etc. He would tell me that Colton just wanted the sex and then he would go to Colton and tell him that I was sayin he raped me. So it broke us up, of course. I was really hurt that we were broke up and eventually just kind of was like 'whatever' then this year when me and Colton started talking again Brandon started talking to me. The night Colton asked me out, I said maybe. Brandon texted me and was trying to get me to send him dirty pictures of myself. Of course I wasnt going to do that. I'm not a very mean person (sometimes but only if you piss me off real bad) and I dont really want my BF's best friend pissed at me. So I sent Brandon an email that said
'I hate being a mean person but I cant date you or anything because me and Colton finally have it together and I feel really bad when you put me in those positions because you make me make difficult decisions that I dont like. But I dont want to ******** up what me and Colton have so I'm sorry'
Anyway, There was a lock-in at the school for ROTC members. Colton went to it. The next day I get two texts from both my best friends that went to the lock-in that said 'That new chick Cali was all over Colton last night' I asked them what she was doing and they said that she was saying he was her boyfriend and that he was going to have her babies etc etc. I was like 'Bull s**t' and so I asked what he did back and they both were like 'He told her to get the ******** away from her' My friends wouldnt lie to me because they know that no matter how much it hurts me in the beginning I will be grateful for it later. So then I texted Brandon and was like 'Is it true that Cali was all over Colton?'
Brandon replied 'yes' and then we started talking about going to the lake with Colton the next day. Well then Brandon was like 'Wait I have to tell you, Colton was all over Cali too' and I was like 'Thats bull s**t I've already had two people tell me that he wasnt so stop trying to make me mad at him, my friends wouldnt lie to me' and he was like 'I wouldnt either' I was like 'Whatever you have before' and he was like 'Yeah a long time ago' I didnt reply and we stopped talking. I talked to Colton about this that night and he was like 'Whatever Brandon lies to everyone'
So today I was supposed to go to the lake with Colton. I ended up going with my sister and her boyfriend since they were already going anyway. It was a complete accident that I even saw Colton there. And I felt all stalkerish, still do actually. Anyway. Brandon just called me and was like 'Colton told me he didnt want you there and he tried to ask his cousin to act like she was his girlfriend when he saw you' I just rolled my eyes but played along with it and was like 'I went with my sister so I wasnt even there for him' and he kept tellin me that Colton didnt want me there and blah blah blah
So my question is, after everything that Brandon has done do you believe I should listen to him or just brush it off and talk to Colton when he calls me?

i cnt say dnt trust brandon
but dnt trust him either . just
be a little careful around him .
idk if tht was the best advice but

Brandon is in my opinion either: a)jelious of who his friend has and such is trying to destroy what you have.
b)interested in you and hates the fact that you like Colton and so is trying to ruin your relationship.
c)is a very cruel person and is messing with you for no real reason other than to just mess with you. either way, don't listen to him. it's obvious that he--for whatever reason--is trying everything he can to make sure that you never stay happy with Colton. however, don't be mean to him either. the whole keep your enemies closer saying will help you if he doesn't get the message that you don't believe him. (besides, why would Colton do those things if it was HE who asked you out again?)

I don't understand why you would even try to trust brandon. he lied all this time. it's obvious that he has a thing for you and is trying to make you hate Colton so that he could have a chance.
