It was not a very good day, Junketsu seemed to be very energetic today, and she couldn't pick a worse time. PJ was currently feeling a bit "under the weather." He was hoping beyond hope that perhaps someone had gotten the message he had pinned up in the mansion. Perhaps if he was lucky someone would come to help him with the little baby. "Junketsu please don't take that, it cost alot of mone....oh damn, now you went and threw it. What is up with you today? Why are you so full of energy?"
Junketsu had just thrown a very vaulable piece of art and shattered it completly, the poor girl was getting restless and no was attempting to pull on PJ's pajama sleeve. She wanted to do something now! "UP DADDY!"
Poor babies, she really did feel bad for them. Always having to have their protectors with them. She was lucky, really, being old enough to leave the house and visit here without Noyama who she more often than not found nothing more than annoying. Truth be told, the protector only let her run around so freely because Gizmo was (and had to) always be with her.
While the girl herself might not care to learn right from wrong, the griff had his morals and seemed to substitue for what Kilah herself lacked. Besides that, he was one of the very few who could slap her on the hand for being bad (not literally, of course), and not get a dagger in the back for it.
Speaking of, Kilah had gotten another one recently. The handle was black, a steel dagger weaved around it. The blade was still new, shining, not a stain on it. It was too pretty to stab anyone with, she'd been told. Even if she couldn't see it herself, she had to agree. As the griff landed, she slipped the weapon back into her belt and jumped to the ground. "Hellooo?"
PJ was stired from his rest, he was laying on the couch in parlor. The door happened to be open that way, on the off chance someone did arrive he would be able to hear them. "Huh? Who's there? You here to help me?"
Junketsu's large ears purked up, she recognized the voice from outside, it sounded like Kilah! She let go of the handful of PJ's pajamas she was tugging on and headed for the door. That was most definatly Kilah out there, she had not seen her in a while and was begining to miss her. "Ki?"
Kilah tilted her head a little, eyebrows raised. Help? Who was dumb enough to ask HER for help? That PJ guy, apparently. It'd been a while, but she never forgot a voice. "Help with what?" Her tone made it obvious she was curious, not concerned. Normally she'd mind her own business, and tell everyone else to mind theirs, but that Junketsu baby sure seemed worked up. "Yeah, Jun." Couldn't she say her full name yet? Eesh.
"Well, I'm a little sick currently. Can't really get off this couch you see, and Junketsu is a bit worked up, not to sure why she, today, is so energetic. I would really appriciate it if perhaps you could take her with you somewhere or keep her busy or something. I'm willing to pay if money is an issue?"
Junketsu crawled up to Akilah and pulled herself up by her pants. "Ki Laa pway?" She looked over to Gizmo and frowned a bit. "monstwer?"
Money? People paid you for that kind of stuff? Man, she'd have to take that up with Noyama when she made her watch all those little brats running around the house. "It's fine," she said after a moment of thought, waving one hand. "I'll watch her." Junketsu? No big deal.
"What?" The Sin'aeis questioned, seeming confused. "Oh, Gizmo? No, he's my eye dog." How had she not seen him before? Oh, right, she made him stay outside usually didn't she? Wasn't her fault he was always catching things on fire. "Only, he's not...really a dog. He acts like one, though."
"Wark!" Gizmo barked as if on que, tail wagging back and forth. The tiny flames from it sparked and fell off to the side, but luckily not enough of them to cause anything to burst into flames.
"Oh, thank you. It really is a big help Akilah, I'm gonna try and get some rest, when your all through just wake me up okay." PJ turned around and went back to sleep
"oggy? eyes? Junketsu pointed to her eyes, she and PJ had been working on the basic parts of ones body. So far she was proud to point out she knew eyes and nose. "hm?" Junketsu eyed the dog cautiously and nodded, he seemed nice enough and so she turned her attention back to Akilah. "pway?"
Eyes? Kilah had to laugh. Only ones like her would find it funny. "I don't have any anymore," she explained as she pointed to the blindfold. "That's why I wear this now. So I don't scare the s**t out of babies and make them scream. Like you." Screaming babies, ugh. Something she just couldn't tolerate, along with a hundred other things. Temper, temper. "Play what?" What COULD they play?
"s**t? no eyes, s**t?" Junketsu didn't learn this word yet, it was a pretty word, she would have to remember it. As for what to play she had no idea, however she did want to go out, being cooped up at the house was no fun. She wasn't even able to go on a walk with PJ this morning because he was sick, whatever that meant, it did make him seem sad though. "we pway no. wanna go out. pway now, wiff oggy!"

Oh... Yeah, there was whole...impressionable thing with babies, wasn't there? She thought that was the right word to use, but didn't care enough to correct herself if it wasn't. "Don't say s**t, June," Kilah said. "Wait until you're a toddler at least." Because that's when she'd started using that word. No one had done or said anything about it then, why would things have changed?
"You wanna play with Gizmo, huh?" Obviously. She thought for a moment and then waved whatever idea she'd had away. Not old enough. Again, she went to thinking. And, again, the idea wouldn't work. Not mobile enough. "Eh, I don't really know what to do with you." She was no professional babysitter! Babies made Gizmo nervous, too, she'd noticed. He was so use to them pulling on his feathers it must've sparked some type of paranoia.

Junkie tilted her head to the side, she was just a bit confused. Why should she wait, Akilah may have been older but Junkie was getting bigger. "Why no?"
"ep, oggy pweese" Slightly ignorin Kilah's protests she glowly crawled towards the Griff. Up close he really wasn't nearly as frightening as he was from far away. "you pway!" Junketsu pushed up off the ground and patted the griff's side, she wanted to get on.

"Because, you'll get in trouble," Kilah said. She couldn't really think of a reason other than that. Anyone who considered such words 'just rude' were being 'just stupid'. "And that's bad. You might get grounded." Shudder. A horrible part of life nearly every (if not every) child suffered through. "It's a horrible thing where you get locked away in your room for a hell of a long time," she explained.
Gizmo stepped back a bit, but was hesitant to move anymore when the baby actually reached him. He didn't have much experience in dealing with them now. When Kilah was a baby, he was a baby, too. Now, they were both older, and that's what he was adjusted too. "Wark?"
"I don't care. Just don't drop her."
With permission, he tilted his head back and nudged the younger Sin'aeis onto his back. When he was certain she wouldn't fall, he perked his wings up to keep her in place. "Wark."

Junketsu tilted her head. Grounded? Being locked in her room? Ususally she had loads of fun in her room. She had all sorts of stuff to keep her busy. She did get into trouble before but was never locked in her room, she just had things taken away from her. "oh..."
Junketsu was just a bit shocked when she was tossed onto Gizmo's back, but he was sort. And she didin't think she would fall off. "Go up!" He had wings like a birdie, he should be able to fly like one to.

The griff shuffled back and shook his head. Up? Sure, he could go up. The only thing more griff-like than dog-like about him was the fact he could fly. Who could remember the last time he and Kilah had walked somewhere? But being on the ground was one thing, flying around was another. Falling down from there risked much more than just a scraped knee or bump on the head.
Kilah chuckled somewhat dully. "Not until you're older," she yawned. "You wouldn't be able to keep your grip that high up, you'd fall---and then your protector would get pissed at me for it."

Junketsu looked at Grff, then to Akilah, and back to the Griff. So, if it can't fly what should they do? "Pway now. do what?" She was getting a bit restless, she wanted to do something, and they realy hadn't moved at all yet. "oggy, go now!" Junketsu ugged gently at the feathers/fur/whatever on the back of its neck in an attempt to make it go.

"Hey, settle down," Kilah said flatly, reaching out and lifting her off Gizmo. The griff whined and moved away, ears and tail low. Babies were so demanding and scarey! "When you're older we'll do stuff, you're too little right now. So, uh...we'll just tell stories I guess." And so she did. Most contained murdering someone by means of pushing them off a cliff, building, or whatever was high enough. Usually that 'someone' bared a striking resembelence personality wise to Aard.
She wasn't sure how long it'd been, but she guessed a while. "We should go home," she informed Gizmo, and partially Junketsu. Soon after she returned to PJ and set the baby down near him. It seemed more sensible than to throw her toward his voice. "I've got to go. I'll see you, Junketsu." Clutching Gizmo's feathers, she hauled herself up and kicked him to 'go'. She managed to get a 'later' out before the griff took off quicker than normal.
Babies = scarey.

The stories seemed to really amuse Junketsu, graned some were a bit scarey, she listened intentivly untill being brought back home. "ank yew!"
"Oh...well thanks alot Akilah, I'll make sure to give you a call some time. Tell your mother I said hello." Taking Junketsu PJ headed off towards her bed room, she would go down for a nap, and he would do the same.
