Ok well heres what I know. The Bible is very strict and tells you all you need to know it is a Guide to Christian. The Bible speaks against all homosexuality. {If you want the versus mail me and I'll find them for you}. Also I read somewhere about no profane thing coming out of your mouth. And the bible also say do not swear, not by heaven or by earth for you created neither. I for one don't curse because it grieves the heart of God. Christianity isn't how close we can get to being of the earth, its getting as close to God as you can. Knowing the very ways of God the very essence of his heart. You know what I mean 3nodding heart

Well i hope I helped yah out.

Any more questions?

{{If I dont answer right away mail me I love helping!}}

Alright....if there's a meteor headed at my house, and a nuclear war everywhere else, what do I do?

"Nothing God created is without purpose. Although Mosquitoes come pretty darn close." I forget who said that. I rather dislike those pesky bugs as well. I think they're probably the fallen angels of the insect world. mrgreen

But what I've found is that many gays want to get married simply for the tax breaks and the insurance, and the security that if their partner ever leaves, they'll still get to legally own half of everything, and those sort of benefits. So why not create a union that gives the same rights as married couples to gay couples, except give it a name other than marriage? I feel that this is the best way to compromise this issue. The gays get their official, legally-binding unions, and marriage is still kept as the bond between a man and a woman. Problem solved.

And if a meteor heads to your house in the midst of nuclear war, yell something totally awesome so you can die knowing you had excellent last words. And if you don't die, well, people will probably end up putting it in a calendar or something. It's a win-win situation. biggrin

That'd be nice.

Personally, I think that it should be equally the same for everyone as far as the legal bit goes. Everyone, gay, straight, or otherwise, gets a domestic partnership. Then marriage is something done by the church, or mosque, or whatever.

But really, I don't understand why people are protesting it. I mean, I understand that it isn't something that agrees with most religions, but technically, most religions say all other religions are wrong. It just seems like something that should be up to each individual to decide, just like religion.

Ok there wasn't really a question but I'm replying to this comment.

God gives up guidelines in everything we do. OS far I've come across three for relationships:
~Don't be yokes together with non-believer
[You shouldn't be with a non-believer I'm pretty sure that'll end up a HUGE MESS!]
~Keep the marriage bed clean
[Dont be with a married man/woman its just wrong. They are married and should be with there spouse dont get in a relationship with that.]
~And dont be with your same sex
[God speaks against homosexuality 100%. It wrong he made man and woman to be together. Homosexuality is a demon that is trying to get on more and more people]

These three are the ones that I've come across in my readings.

So does anyone have anything else to say, ask, etc 3nodding

Well, people protest it because marriage is a holy union established by God, and by allowing gays to be married it contradicts God's rules for marriage. Most people are willing "to love the sinner and hate the sin," and will therefore not object to a domestic union between gays, but they just don't want God's name attached to it, as it will make it seem like He's contradicing himself.

But there are also those who protest gay marriage because they don't want the government to make this sin legal. However, they fail to see that it can't be stopped. Sin is a part of this world, and if you tell people they can't, usually it will make them want to do it more just to spite you.
