I keep getting recommendations from Amazon saying I would like Simon R Green's Nightside Series. Has anyone read any? What's the verdict?

I can't say I've read it. But, as I am planning a trip to the book store this afternoon, I shall pick up the first in the series. I'll let you know in about two weeks (what with finals coming up and work and such)
