It's winter... the last battle at London was fought... And King Hass Louis was captured by the resistance.
Lord Nikolai Folset, the leader of the resistance was announced as new King of England.
Slowly, england is recovering from the civil war and everyone's working together to restore the Kingdom to it's former glory.
Even the new proclaimed "King" is working hand in hand with the commoners to restore what was lost.

Nikolai worked as barber before he founded the Folset Resistance Army, living a somewhat normal life as commoner with his wife Elaine.
There had been several attempts for a rebellion before... but every time they failed... out of one simple reason...
They were too small... and easily defeated by the kings army... one day though...
Elaine was buying food on the market... and never made it back alive...
There was a big uproar on the marketplace, another resistance army thought it was clever to storm right into battle...
Elaine - died by the hands of a soldier of the king... together with 50 resistance fighters, her corpse stained the ground below her red...
This was the reason the "Folset Resistance Army" was founded... and eventually they succeeded in overthrowing the king and his army that terrorized their country for so long.
One day - while helping some commoners fixing their homes roof he managed to take a look at Elena, that commoners daughter...
Ever since he saw her, she's all that goes through his mind.
For some reason every time the king has to leave the castle... he's looking by that families house...

Elena is a openminded positive thinking girl living in a small hut together with his father and her brother Gutwill.
She lost her mother when she was five and has no real memories of her.
Elena dislikes her fathers attitude and negative thoughts about the new king - especially because he's the first one to accept the kings goodwill when he offers his help to fix their roof.
Unsure of her own feelings she tries to avoid getting too emotional or lovey-dovey when possible.
There's something about Nikolai though that attracts her, she feels at ease when he's around - and is the only person in her family that has enough courage to say what's on her mind in front of the king.

But if that's the case... why didn't he make use of them when the "Folset Resistance Army" invaded the castle...?
Could it be that there's some bigger plan that he's following behind the curtain? A plan that's worth being exiled...?
The Crystal Sword he's using makes weird scream like sounds when he's swinging it...
As if the souls of the ones he has slaughtered were screaming in pain...
Rumors also states that he's a master of necromancy... even though there's noone still alive that could state the fact...

She dreams about a crystal palace of some sort every now and then, and about a princess and a prince... but every time she tries to look into their faces the dream ends.
She doesn't know what it is - but there's something about Hass that fascinates her...

Not knowing what feelings exactly are, she can't difference between the different human emotions at all.
Her weapon of choice is a weapon she calls "Empty Blades" - floating knifes made of ice that follow her arm movements.

Residing in a area - unreachable to any normal beings - he's living in a dimension where there's nothing like time...
Freely able to control the flow of time and events - He - without normal humans knowing - influenced the flow of time to make sure events unfold in a way he thinks they should.
There's some connection between him, Sorrow, Geer and Hass...
He also manipulates time and space to send Hass letters... which makes Hass believe that Shaden is some kind of god.
Could it be that Hass is Shadens puppet - maybe without knowing it himself...?
