Like flowers, they have no gender and procreate by some sort of pollination. This is the only time that a uni will allow another to enter its tree.
A single seed is produced from each parent. Both offspring is then tossed away from the parent tree so that they too can take root. After the seeds germinate and grow into a small sapling, they will produce a strange looking bud. When the bud blossoms, the form of a young uni will be revealed.
Unii can only breed twice in their lifetime, three if actively roleplayed, so choose your mates wisely <3
1. Both unii must be adults.
2. Uni must be owned by different people. So no breeding your own pets.
3. Species 4 and above cannot breed.
4. Wilds can, but there must be proof of rp
5. Species (1-3, & wilds) can interbreed, the type of species produced will be dependant on the parent. So a Caere/Ertiba pair will produce 1 Caere and 1 Ertiba. The markings will be a mix of both parents though.
>> If proof of being actively rped, then there's a high chance of their being an extra offspring.
6. The offspring cannot be sold off in any way! They can be kept, gifted, or given away in a free contest.
