Had a baby~

"Ethan Mangat.
His middle names will be Jonathan, after Joti's brother and a Punjabi name that will be given to him at special ceremony that we are having next week. The order will be decided once we know that name.
Also to let you know...
He was born at 6:33 on August 6th. Weighed 6lb. 4oz. and is 19 inches.

I stumbled upon her Myspace page a few weeks ago, which is weird, because I hate Myspace. xD It seems that she's still pursuing a career in music, but stays out of the spotlight. From what I can tell, she just performs in small venues and stuff...

It seems odd to me how easily she returned to having a normal life. If it were me, I wouldn't stop talking about being in Coconuts Musume. xD I'd be all "Yeah, I was an idol in Japan for a few years there... I was part of one of the biggest pop groups in Japan, Hello! Project. Yup, and I was part of the first bestselling shuffle group, too~" You'd have to knock me out to shut me up. xD

I'm glad she didn't turn out like that, though. I hope she and her baby are happy~

it's weird, i mean in japan Coconuts Musume was pretty huge, and J-Pop (and needless to say japan in general) is my life so i rarely think about music from the US etc etc but it must have been SO hard to come back from being so big and coming back down to Myspace level again (not to say some bands on myspace aren't good, but they're beginners pretty much) and also having people going "Wut? Wher's this japan playse?" (exaggeration). it must have been such a come down and disappointment. i mean i guess she wanted to leave on her own accord but still, form being famous to having no glory at all. must have been hard... Y_Y
