Widow-Of-D00m it is just my personal opinion and i did say i never played it but i watched my ex on many occassions... i think i personally made a clear idea of what it is, based on my own personal experiance in watching it for hour after boring hour. in fact my ex is the one that told me all that information.. that it was almost pointless to play unless u hack cause u will never get anywhere. and good for u... sorry i get defensive over that game, even though i don't play anymore. from what you said, it looked more like a fact than opinion. well i can say, fo shizzle, that you do NOT need hacks, or buy gold, or anything else shady, to play that game and get ahead. i never had to use them, not even once, and neither did the people i played with.

I decided to play WoW of my own accord, but it took about a year for them to convince me. Through the recruit a friend, I am now a level 4.
I know that my name is Pinkpatron, I'm on Boulderfist [sp?], and I'm a blood elf. For now, others have taken my account off my hands so I can focus on schoolwork. If you wish to be my friend, add me and mention that you found me on this guild and are from Gaia, otherwise I will likely not accept.
I don't know much about the game; if anything, it will make a good psychology paper. -grins-
EDIT: I am now level 21. blaugh

im addicted too. for a while i quit...not bc i wanted to but i bc i moved out and ill be d@mned if i ever go int my parents house agin. but now i have a computer. so i can play all the time. muahaha

Going on 3 years for me.
On Eldre'Thalas: Aliengecko, lvl 70 Human warlock, destr
Alikat, lvl 70 Draenai hunter, BM
On Shandris: Theà, lvl 70 NE druid, balance
Aliethe, lvl 70 Draenai priest, shadow
Various assortment of lower levels on both of those realms, highest being 54, and a scattering of real low levels on a scattering of other realms (for those times one of the main 2 realms i play is down.)
Haven't played as much as I used to lately, still addicted though.

bah. i prefer playing Lineage 2 and Guilds War
L2: Hamna Lvl 34 Human Cleric, sweethope Lvl 16 Elven Mystic, Orlha lvl 10 Dwarven Warrior, Miakis lvl 20 Knight.
GW: Miakis Selena lvl 20 Monk/Ranger, smiter healer; Sefar Morisota lvl 14 Elementalist/Mesmer fire; Hanma Selis lvl 14 Ranger/Warrior bleeder and poisoner; Amy Lynn Daniels lvl 12 Mesmer/Ranger interrupter and domination
So yeah, im somewhat addicted to online games

I play it but sadly I've got the 10 trial and don't have the cash to buy the software. Maybe my best friend will let me get her software and I'll put it on there. I did have it but I took it off since then I didn't have an account. I was gonna go on under hers but I forgot the login info.
I just stated but I'm up to a level 13 Night Elf Hunter. Hunters are so cool. I have characters on different servers.
Only thing I do not like about that game, people dub you a 'noob' because you either ask a question about something or you don't want to duel them. I get people that are level 11 trying to duel me at level 5! That's an unfair advantage to me.

I never had that trouble with duels. I usually said something along the lines 'Ya, no time now man!' and that is while playing a troll.
As in every game, there seem to be no in-between. This is highly flammable generalization and fits more easily to male teens and pre-teens playing. Either you're a n00b to be taunted at or you have to boost with all those lvl70 characters.

I played WoW for over a year.
Hyjal Server (Alliance)
Whipered- Lvl 70 NE Hunter
Vixxenn- Lvl 70 Gnome Warlock
Plus MANY other lower lvl toons
Both have been through the raids, and i got really bored of it. So now i play Warhammer with my husband and his friends. It's a lot more gritty looking, and "realistic". However, as soon as WOTLK comes out for WoW, I'll be playing both WAR and WOW. >.< God i love monthly subscriptions.

I have to say that I'm already bored with WoW. I played it few trials and I've seen much of my friends high level characters and places.. And it's all the same candy world, with basically same items, quests and raids.
My interest died out already, now I'm going back to PlayStation and checking out Assasin's Creed.
