- Hello one and all and welcome to the main thread of the House Dispatch, the local House of Osi newspaper, run and moderated by yours truly! This is a bi-monthly affair in which I, the Geek, will be collecting featured artworks and stories as well as the latest House developments and putting them into one, mildly poorly written newspaper! : D
So, you say you want to be featured? It's an easy process, really.
For Written Entries!
x Written entries must NOT be any more than 500 words long. Stuff like 501 or 510, even, is alright, but nothing above that please. ; ;
x Written entries can be about anything, really. You can submit a short story (please tell me if it'll be in a series of chapters, because I'll probably like to feature the whole thing!), or something about the House or where it 's "located" (like about the weather looming over the House. Should we be expecting a tornado?). Maybe you spotted bigfoot, or a unicorn! Be as creative and witty as possible.
x Please do not write anything spiteful about any users in specific. If you do, I'm gonna have to forbid any entries from you for quite a while. >_>;
x To submit a written entry, please send a PM to iGeek` with the title, "Dispatch Via Pen." She'll be selecting 1-3 entries for every issue!
For Illustrations!
x It's possible to collaborate with an author and send in a picture for a specific story! As long as you tell me what it's for, if the story gets featured, so do you!
x I do have to put a quality cap on, though. No MS paint stick figures, okay?
x I'm going to have to tell you to please resize and crop your images for me so they're no more than 300x400px. :> There might be some exceptions, talk to me about it.
x No nudity. I'm okay with it, but some people just can't handle it.

For Comic Strips!
x That's right, you heard me! Can you make little 3-4 panel comics? Can ya, can ya? Then send them in! What's a newspaper without the funnies?
x Please, no offensive content. :3
x I'd like the strips to be in horizontal format, and not vertical. Formatting issues, youknow?

For Advertisements!
x Do you have a guild you want to advertise? Your art shop? Give Geeker a ring!
x I do request that you make a 200x90px banner, no bigger and no smaller, and provide a link to the place you're advertising.
x To submit an ad, please sent a PM to iGeek` with the title, "Dispatch My Ad!" She'll be picking 1-4 entries for every issue!
There is a slight chance I'll be picking permanent, devoted reporters! If you show enough interest and don't beg for it, I might just drop you a line asking if you're interested in a certain job or something. ;D It comes with Birthday Benefits~
