Yeah the beginning of College is always a stressful time. Try to pace yourself and keep up with your work.

Well, not to sound pessimistic, but good luck on the OLR. You're going to need it.

Don't get OLRs and LDRs confused. Very different beasts indeed. You're in an OLR, and the only way to "make it better" is to meet her. Relationships need three essential things: communication, trust, and contact. OLRs lack the contact element.

Well, you could probably figure out her phone number so you can call her on occassion or whenever you guys want to. Just make sure she knows you're calling unless you've called for a while so it's not some sudden thing and she gets nervous and might do something stupid, etc. I think that's definitely a big step to use the phone all the time because there's really no faster way to do communicate unless you actually meet her. So, unless you want to send e-mails, letters in the mail, I think you should definitely do that.

I think telling her about your situation would be something that you should bring up. A big one would be that you might lose your connection and that you're in college and you can be busy because that will at least make her aware of the issues that you might be facing. Or it's a just in case if you're not on for a while without notifying her.

Umm good advice, I have been looking for way to try and meet her but she 1000 miles away so I'm fighting both beast I guess, but I think this may work to for the advantage its going to be a long time before I can meet her, this way we can get to know eatchother before actually dating (she told to me to ask her out if we ever meet), I expect my mother who is now living in the U.S. somwhere might be close to her so I might find a way to meet her when I vist my mom this summer.

Umm a phone uh, well I whould create an enormus bill but its still a good idea, like at times like this when her computor is apprently in repair (damn Macs), though I'm thinking of geting even better shes been looking to get a mic/webcam but can't afford one yet, I think I can get her some for real cheap then mail them to her, this way we can have video confrences wich is a far better method of communitcating.

Some times snail mail is great becuase when you are holding it you know that they held it in their hands too. It gives you a real feeling of connection.

But issues cause big problems.
