~Wyvern Riders~-Are you ready to ride the rulers of the sky?-
One day, a mage by the name of Aion, disguised by the fake pleasantries of Faithos, decided to make a pact with a Wyvern called simply Monoblos. They both agreed on the condition of the world and they both agreed that there needed to be a change, and that they were going to make it. From that point on, they started recruiting mages and dragons alike to become apart of the revolution for a new world. After doing this, a great war started that took all of Faithos by surprise. So much in fact, that Aion, Monoblos and their revolution were able to take over Faithos in a matter of months.
With their takeover, Aion was able to gather more people willing to keep up the fight and let the new regime stay in place. He even went as far as to place his five most gallant warriors in a special group called The Imperial Five, which were not only his personal body guards from time to time, but were also the only ones, besides him, able to give any orders.
After the takeover, the world of Faithos was set into the chaos that Aion and Monoblos wished for; and even though they knew it was a success, there were still people willing to fight for a better world than what was had now.

-The Situation-
In response to the acts of the Aion/Monoblos empire, the supreme council of Faithos called upon and mage brave enough to ban together to stop this regime. Likewise, the elder Wyverns of Faithos have called upon and Wyvern that is willing to team up with the mages, for they realized that no one side can take on Aion and Monoblos and expect to win.
Here’s where you come in; you pair yourself with a Wyvern and then you can either join Aion/Monoblos and help maintain the chaos plaguing Faithos, or you can join in the fight to take back the preciousness that was Faithos. It’s your choice.

oo2. This is a literate rp. If you aren't up to par, then you'll get the axe, sorry.
oo3. This RP has a max rate of PG 13, that's right, 13, so I'd like to see some real intellectuality (yes, it is a word, look it up if you like).
oo4. Please, DO NOT post profiles in the thread. If you want to submit a profile, I would really appreciate it if you sent it to me in a pm, thank you.
oo5. No Godmodding, Power Playing, or any of that other stuff; it is quite annoying and very unwelcome.

Bio: Nyamo grew up with only her grandfather to take care of her. When she was born, he mother had already left her father, so that just left the two of them. Her mother, who soon realized that she couldn't do it alone, left Nyamo on the steps of her father's temple, and left. The next morning, Nyamo's grandfather found her but was not upset, for he figured it might happen.
For years, he took care of her and taught her the ways of the Monks without actually naming her one. Eventually, when he knew that he couldn't teach her anymore, he let Nyamo go out on her own to train herself in the different elements of the world; of course she was able to come back at any time.
When the war started, Nyamo's grandfather tried to fight back, but in the end, he was not able to protect his temple nor himself. He came out with both his arms broken and a battered body. Nyamo, who was late for everything started to blame herself, but then realized that it wouldn't help anything; so she decided to continue her training while still going back to the new village she left her grandfather in every once in a while to check up on him.
Weapon(s): A sword she took from her grandfather's study which she doesn't think he knows about, but he does (it was after he was injured).

Bio: Aion’s past is shaded in a lot of mystery. He seemed to one day come out of nowhere as he approached the council trying to explain to them why they needed to be the ones in supreme control of Faithos. When that did work, he then went to the Elder Wyverns to try and persuade them that the mages were trying to expel them from the land so they could be the only rulers. When both attempts fail, he went into seclusion for a year or so, after which returning with Monoblos to take over Faithos.
Weapon(s): A rather large two-handed sword that he wields quite easily with one hand, furthering the question of what he's actually capable of.
Extra: Although it has been made clear that Aion’s element is Light, he has incredible strength and can move rather quickly with the suite of armor that he wears. He actually was able to stop a medium-sized Wyvern dead in its track with just his bare hands, so that brings to question what he can really do.

Bio: Mistreated as a child, Hawkeye grew up with a lot of anger built up inside of him. He was constantly being picked on by not only his father, but other kids because of his seemingly timid nature and his size (surprisingly, he was really small for his age when he was young). When he turned 16, however, everything changed. He not only went through a growth-spurt and gained his elemental abilities, but an increase in confidence, which wasn't really good for anyone else.
Hawkeye not only mercilessly beat up the kids who picked on him for years, but he also nearly beat his father to death. He stopped himself in enough time, for he wanted his father to live through it.
When Aion came around with his revolutionary plan, Hawkeye was the first to join him.
Not long after he joined Aion, Hawkeye ran into a Wyvern named Karuga. The two really didn't seem to like each other when they first met, but after Aion's Wyvern Monoblos convinced them to work together, they obtained a love/hate relationship that is still apparent now.
Weapon(s): A giant axe
Extra: Hawkeye, in his spare time, makes ice sculptures with his axe. No one really knows why, but he just does.

-Other Info-
The proclamation for the mages and Wyverns to join each other is fairly new, so there's a rare chance that there are mage/Wyvern pairs yet. Now, I'm not saying it's impossible, but if there are some, then there aren't a lot.
Also, when finding your Wyvern partner, you'll most likely find them in an area that pertains to their element [like an earth Wyvern would be in the mountains and a water near water]. It's not unlikely that a Wyvern won't be in such places [like they're flying around looking for a partner as well].
A few other things while I'm thinking about them:
1. I'll leave it to you to figure out how you're going to find your partner in the Wyvern (ex. they can deem you worthy after you two fight, or you could just ask them,it's up to you).
2. If you're going to be apart of the Imperial Riders, then put that in parenthesis next to The Regime Riders. Also, there will only be five as you so read earlier, and I will keep an update of how many spots for them.
3. I probably already made some profiles for characters that I'm not going to play, so if you want to play as them, then just pm me and we'll take it from there.
4. I haven't thought of it yet.

"Dang. I can't get to him. He's too fast." Nyamo thought to herself as she slid back through the dirt. This fight had been going on for a while with the scale not tipping in her favor. If she wanted to win, she would have to catch him off his guard, but there was a problem; she didn't know exactly how to do that. He was a fast Wyvern with the same abilities as her, which means not only did this start off as a stalemate, but the balance tipped in his favor because of what he was. 'This isn't good, at all.' She thought to herself as she took a knee.
"Don't tell me that you're giving up already!" The Wyvern said to the girl with a bit of excitement in his voice. He was actually enjoying the fight, but knew that she wasn't going to win. Actually, he was playing around with her all of this time for he knew from the beginning that she wasn't ready for a battle like this. "Come come, stop wasting time. Let's go!" And with that, the orange Wyvern started his charge at the girl, slinging boulders as he stopped briefly from time to time.
'Crap!' Nyamo thought as she stood to her feet and prepared herself for his attack. Once he started slinging the boulders, she managed to dodge two and rip through one, but when she did, the Wyvern was right in her face. "........."
"Hello." He said about three inches from her face before he left out a powerful roar that sent the girl flying back. Oddly enough, he sent her back to where her sword was laying from earlier. "Now get out of here. You're wasting my time, and it's really annoying." He growled then turning his tail to her and walking away.
Nyamo, who was now on the ground next to her sword, had a look of shame on her face. She wasn't even going to try and get a sneak attack in on him, for she knew it would probably turn out bad for her in the end. So she picked herself and her sword up, and walked off, defeated.
That was the second time that flashback played in Nyamo's head. She was now at a lake at the base of the mountain she just came down from. She'd been there ever since she lost and walked away, which was about an hour ago; and from the looks of her, she still had the look of defeat on her face.
I have to beat him, but how. He's too strong for me. He was just playing with me back there, I know it. But how am I going to beat what's stronger than me? She thought to herself as she splashed some water on her face.

As Nyamo still sat there, she was still trying to think of a way to beat the Wyvern, but nothing was coming to mind. Actually, another thought crossed her mind as she sat at the base of the mountain. Exactly why am I so determined to defeat him? I don't get it. For some reason, there was something inside of her telling her that she needed to do this, no matter what it took; so she decided that whatever this was, was right, and she needed to do this.
Nyamo then stood up and turned to the mountain. She had a look of determination on her face this time because that's what she was, determined to defeat the Wyvern.
After taking a breath, Nyamo started toward the mountain, but before she could even take her third step, something happened. "What?" Was as that came out as she looked to the sky to see a rather large mass falling toward her. She managed to move out of the way by using her abilities to flip the ground she was on to propel her to the side, but when she saw the mass hit the ground, confusion was all that was hovering around her. Wait, it's....the Wyvern.
Yes, lying on the ground right at this moment was the orange Wyvern who just so happened to be fighting the girl earlier, and he wasn't looking too hot. "Damn Karuga." He growled as he rose. It seemed as though he was in a fight, which wasn't over.
"Come come, stop wasting time. Let's go!" A blueish-black Wyvern yelled down to him as she jumped down from the mountain.
"That's my line!" He said launching boulders at the Wyvern who seemed to dodge them rather easily. "Dam-" He couldn't finish his word for a large amount of water came from behind him and sent him flying. After finally hitting the ground, he watched as the other Wyvern touched down. "I still don't like you." He said before charging.
The blueish-black Wyvern just smirked to his comment and prepared for the attack. "You don't have to like me, you just have to die!" And with that, a large body of water arose from the lake behind her. It then shot toward the orange Wyvern, but then turned into ice sickles which shot at him from multiple directions.
The orange Wyvern stopped and then brought his head up which made the ground shift up and around him to create a barrier from the attack.
"Well that's not fair. Come Rex, is that all you can do?" Said Karuga, the blue-black Wyvern with the ability to control water.
"No!" Said Rex from inside the barrier. When it went down, he was nowhere to be found.
Karuga looked around to try and find him, but to no avail. "Just where did you go?" She questioned as braced herself for an attack.
Just then, something told her to jump, and when she did, Rex came from under the ground for the attack. "How very sneaky of you, but it wasn't good enough!" She exclaimed gliding back down to him and kicking him with her two hind legs, after putting her two front paws on his shoulders, into the lake behind. Before he got the chance to to get out of the water, Karuga froze him in an ice berg. "There, that should keep you from moving." She said landing and looking at him. She was trying to figure out what to do with him, but nothing really came, so just decided to sink him. "Goodbye, old frien-" Before Karuga could finish, a large slab of rock collided with the right side of her body, sending her flying to the left.
"You talk too much." Nyamo said standing erect. She had been watching the fight ever since the orange Wyvern hit the ground. "Unfortunately, I can't allow you-" she then stopped to look at the frozen Wyvern, and then back to the other, "to defeat this Wyvern." When she finished, she balled her right fist and then brought her right arm up. Then, raising her left land with her palm facing the sky, she brought her right arm around going toward the left and then out. With this, a large pillar of rock rose from the ground and then sped toward the ice berg.
When it collided, there was silence for a few seconds, and then it started to shatter. When it finally broke and the Wyvern was free, he flew up and then landed next to the girl. He just looked at her for a few seconds before actually saying something. "... Thanks."
Nyamo, who then put her arms down, just looked at the Wyvern and smiled with some blush on her face. "Yes well. I couldn't have that Wyvern beating you.That's my job." She said to the Wyvern giving a small laugh.
"Right." Rex said looking at her and then in the direction of Karuga who was now getting up.
"How sweat. There's nothing more special than the relationship between a girl and her pet." Karuga stated with a lot of anger in her voice. She couldn't believe that this girl had the nerve to attack her. In her eyes, the girl was her target, and she wouldn't rest until she was dead and her body couldn't be found.
"Just to let you know girlie," Rex started giving a small sigh. "She's pissed now, and you're going to die." He put plainly as he watched Karuga start her blind charge. "That is, unless, I help you. And seeing as how you got me out of the damn ice-" Rex then let out a loud roar which cause pillars of rock to rise out of the ground around Karuga who was hit by some and dodged others. "I feel as though I owe you or something."
Nyamo, who brought the tips of her fingers together at her pelvic area, palms down, and then rose her hands up to her chest to only bring them back down, opened a hole in the ground a half-step in front of Karuga, causing her to fall in. "You know what, I think you're right."
Karuga then jumped out of the hole and looked at the two with more anger in her eyes. "I'm getting tired of this." And with that, she opened her mouth wide to reveal an accumulating orb of water. When it was finished accumulating, Karuga shot it, and it turned into a 22 foot x 22 foot body of water that was rapidly making it's way toward the girl and Rex.
Without thinking about it, Nyamo jumped on Rex's back and took her horse fighting stance. She looked at Rex for only a moment to see him nod, and then they moved as though they were one.
Nyamo placed her hands in a half moon position whilst Rex lowered the front half of his body, bringing his right paw back and extending his left forward. Nyamo then, bringing her left foot forward, swung her right foot around and brought her hands back and down to her left hip, and then brought them out with her left knuckles pointing toward the right and her right knuckles pointing up.
Rex roared and then slid his right paw forward in conjunction with Nyamo bringing her hands forward. All of these actions created a half pipe that fit the exact shape of the water blast which hit the pipe, flowed up it and went back to Karuga.
Kagura, who was still in the midst of shooting water, didn't realize that her attack was coming back at her until it was too late and it hit her dead on her forehead, digging her face into the ground.
