The Kwerkish Zodiac
The Kwerkish Zodiac differs from the more commonly known zodiacs. They are represented by color as opposed to an object, a constellation, or a mythical creature. Which zodiac does your Kwerk fall under? Only you can decide!

Note that zodiacs are generalised personality superstitions/descriptions, not everyone believes in the zodiac and not everyone lets their horoscope run their daily life. Zodiacs are intented to be fun and, like tarot cards, they are meant to offer friendly advice to take however you please! Have fun with it!

You are NOT required to assign your Kwerk its zodiac, it's just something for fun and to put up in the Kwerkish Gallery.

Color & Subcolor
To determine your Kwerk's color and/or subcolor, all you do is pick which subcolor above or below fits better. For example, a Kwerk's main zodiac color may be "Red" but "Red-Violet" instead of "Red-Orange".

A Kwerk can NOT have a subcolor that does not match it's base color. A "Red" base zodiac Kwerk will NOT have "Green-Blue" as it's subcolor. It's main color and one subcolor above or below the color scale for its subcolor.

The Cyan & Blue-Cyan Special Rule
UPDATED INFORMATION: We've reclassified this to mean that any "Green" Kwerk has three sub-colors beneath it to choose from. Most Kwerks who have no consistant personality are said to be "Cyan". It's considered to be a "bad" color, where a Kwerk is so insane that it finds no rest or peace and often will harm another Kwerk in the process.

A "Blue-Cyan" is a "happy crazy" Kwerk. A Kwerk that is insane but means no harm or malice towards another Kwerk and not even itself is most likely a "Blue-Cyan". Often they appear sleepy or happy or extremely passive even in the midst of total chaos. They are also known as "Sky", or so lost in the clouds that they'll never come down.

The Color & Subcolor Descriptions
Each color is described with it's base color first and it's two above & below subcolors after it.

Red-Violet (Pink) (sub-color of "Violet", See also "Violet".)

Red
Ever heard of someone with a temper known as "fiery" or of a "fiery disposition"? A Red zodiac Kwerk displays a hot temper and often blurts out things it probably didn't mean to say out loud, often hurting the feelings of another Kwerk if they're not careful.

Red-Orange (Fox Red) (sub-color of "Red")
The fox has been depicted throughout all of known tale as mischievious, cunning, and quick. Cunning is the result of ambition and a never ending drive to achieve one's goal. Sometimes it takes a bit of fire on someone's haunches to get the old job done. A Kwerk with "Red/Fox Red" is typically a born leader but if he doesn't watch what he says it could get him in trouble. He'll need a mediator if he hopes to get through to some Kwerks.

Orange
Orange is known as a "fall" color a gentler form of "Red" and a milder side of "Fox Red". It is more closely related to "Fox Red" in that a Kwerk of an "Orange" nature will tend to be fun-loving, mischievious but not as ambitious as "Fox Red". It lacks the hot headedness of "Red" and is content to lead or follow based on what it feels is best for progress. It's opinionated but not prone to arguments if someone has a different opinion. Generally a "Orange" will "agree to disagree" instead of fighting. An "Orange" Kwerk is often religious or a politician (or both!) - we're not sure why.

Yellow-Orange (sub-color of "Orange")
Yellow-Orange is the kind you'd most likely see wearing tye-dyed shirts, cut-off jeans, and flipflops. It's a party go-er that's also content with being an absolute bum. It's the "long-haired hippy child", who enjoys all manner of music and is often a musician. They like to go against or go with "the system" based on their mood and how much its entertainment value is worth. They are content to watch the world squabble amongst itself or ride its waves on one continuous joyride.

Yellow
Fun! Fun best describes the "sunny" disposition of a Yellow Kwerk. Sweet but somewhat tart if they have to be, very much like a lemon. They can be as sour as they want, but really prefer to be sweetened or invited to something fun. A Yellow Kwerk will most likely be the one hosting an outdoor party intended for everyone, come as you're dressed! Cookouts and barbeques wouldn't be fun without a "Yellow" Kwerk being there.

Yellow-Green (sub-color of "Yellow")
Hobbies! The Yellow-Green is the one you go to if you want a craft buddy or a hardcore hobbyist pal. Whatever the hobby (knitting, embroidery, yahtzee, polo, stamp collecting, scrap booking, model horses, etc.) most likely the one planning on writing a -book- about it would be a Yellow-Green. They are hobbyists to the point of obsessiveness if not watched over. Sometimes you'll have to drag them out of the house to get them to go and enjoy some fresh air, but despite their arguing once they are out they thank you for it.

Green
This is posh! Posh is the "Green" Kwerk, no matter how poor a Green Kwerk is, they make anything they own look like it's worth a million gold coins. They have pride in what they do and express it in the things they wear, their homes, and sometimes even in the friends they keep. They are associated with luck for a reason! A "Green" Kwerk is thrifty, money smart, and often has the most balanced budget of them all.

Blue-Green (Sea Green) (sub-color of "Green")
Sailing, the beach, the smell of cool salt-air, sand... Anything related to the ocean or water, at all, drives a "Sea Green" Kwerk. Sometimes this transcends into land-dwelling careers like biology, chemistry, botany, and zoology, marine biology, meteorology. Any career having to do with the driving force of life is where you'll find a Sea Green Kwerk. Old time Kwerks love to become captains, pirates, sailors, or swimmers and divers. Newer minded Kwerks become natural earth scientists of some persuasion.

Cyan (2nd sub-color of "Green")
Madness, sheer dangerous madness. Not to be handled lightly, a Cyan Kwerk is not safe to be around -EVER-. A Cyan Kwerk will most likely be banished or destroyed for the general safety of everyone else in the dream world. Cyan Kwerks are NOT something that Snip & Hatchers will EVER assign to you from the beginning, but some Kwerks may develope Cyan-like tendencies if mistreated or exposed to dangerous ideas. Most "mad scientists" are "Cyan" in nature.

Blue-Cyan (Sky) (3rd sub-color of "Green")
No one's sure why some Kwerks get so mixed up they go mad, but sometimes throwing a little insanity isn't a bad thing. Sky Kwerks often find loving companionship with Yellow or "sunny" Kwerks, thus a "sun and sky" relationship where they compliment each other and yet both have enough energy to play without tiring of it easily. If ever you're bored and can't think of a silly idea or a game to play, when Yellow isn't around you may find playing with Sky to be just as rewarding - if not more rewarding. Sky is silly but passive like a floating balloon on a sunny day. Sky can take an idea and turn it in such a way that you never thought to see it in before.

Blue
The most laid back Kwerk you'll ever find is most likely a "Blue" one. They are content to sit and let vines grow over them and mushrooms sprout from their heads. They are slow to move, slow to decide, but very very thoughtful. Anyone who's found zen is probably a "Blue" Kwerk. They are the kind you'd find staring at a single piece of art or landscape for eons before moving on to something else. When you think of the age of mountains, fossils, and planets this is probably the same rate of time a "Blue" Kwerk lives its life through. Most immortal Kwerks will be "Blue".

Blue-Indigo (sub-color of "Blue")
Melancholy and often a poet or a dramatic actor. Most Blue-Indigo Kwerks enjoy writing plays on more serious issues and are capable of writing novels or acting in soap operas. They enjoy fiction but lean towards science-fiction more than fantasy. A Blue-Indigo Kwerk often has dark humor and an artistic streak that can go either visual or textual or sometimes both! Graphic novels or just plain novels, a Blue-Indigo Kwerk probably did it. They are often the most eloquent in even their daily conversations.

Indigo
The sad Kwerk or the very funny Kwerk! It's odd that sometimes the funniest person is often the saddest inside. An Indigo can have you rolling in the aisles from laughter, anything to keep them from remembering or thinking about something sad. Once something sad confronts them, it's very hard for them to snap out of it. When they are sad a Yellow Kwerk will drive them bonkers, but a Sky Kwerk has a silly enough approach to a situation to appeal to an Indigo.

Violet-Indigo (subcolor of "Indigo")
Tragic lovers, Kwerks who strive for love to conquer despite the overbearing odds! A Violet-Indigo Kwerk will weep and argue at the same time, often riddle with frustration but too kind or in love to do much about it. They can spot the problems with "the world" and often write or sing or do anything they can to get the message through to people and their need for attention is insatiable. Clingy, soppy, and sometimes impossible to cheer up.

Violet
Fragile, sensitive, and sincere. Everything about a Violet Kwerk means to walk on eggshells. They are flightly, very shy and soft spoken. But once you upen up to a Violet Kwerk you find their is actually a lot to them, but a lot of it they keep inside. Sometimes there's a whole other color within them, but their inhibitions and fear of rejection will permantently keep them from ever turning the other cheek.

Red-Violet (Pink) (sub-color of "Violet")
Almost a "Red" but not over the edge enough to be fiery. More hardy than a Violet, a Red-Violet or "Pink" Kwerk is loveable, affectionate, and happier than a solid "Violet". Sadness doesn't overtake them for long and they may take a while to tell you how they feel, but they never speak out without reason to. Everything a Pink will say it's because they want something to work out for the best. A Pink Kwerk is generous and sometimes selfless.
