I got into drumming (by playing on Expert all the time) and I think I've gotten very good at real drums and anyone else could, even off the drumset. It helps with rhythms
a lot. There was actually a rhythm in one of our songs last year that I couldn't get worked out and then there was something similar in a Rock Band song and I figured out how to play it! There's also those drum rhythms and fils practices on Rock Band 2 and that helped a lot in game.
