Staight couple is a toss up between
Kagome and InuYasha (InuYasha)
Miaka and Tamahome (fushigi Yugi)
Gay couple.....thats tuff i don't usually go for the gay couples..

Hm.. it's been awhile since I've thought of Anime couples.
I'd have to say Tamahome and Miaka are good.
Also Kouga and Ayame once Kouga gets over Kagome.
As for gay couples...
Miroku and Inuyasha for some reason in my mind that just works.

gay / bi: haven't read any manga or seen any anime that delve into this kind of relationship
would love to see fan fic of: Spike and Faye hooking up (why did he have to stay in love with Julia? Faye was so much cooler by the end of it) *sigh* So long Space Cowboy.
