Remember that gorgeous Asian guy from Myspace I was telling you about?
Well, turns out he's not a goregeous Asian guy at all. He's just some dude who was conducting a 'social experiment' to prove his theory that Myspacers are stuck up and will only talk to you if you're good looking.
WTF?!
I'm kind of torn between disappointment, and amazement at the sheer stupidity of this experiment. I mean, it's true in most cases but wouldn't you also have to create a profile with pictures of someone really ugly in order to observe both sets of results and compare?
And I mean, I have plenty of ugly people on my friends list. Okay that sounded really cruel, but I just mean that I would never ignore someone who talked to me just because of their looks. Admittedly I was really excited because he was gorgeous and Asian, but if he'd been a completely deformed freak I still would have talked to him.
Gah! People are creepy weird...
