As his cubs were getting bigger, Ravi surely had his paws full with helping Sevati take care of them. He wasn't about to let his mate take all the burder on her shoulders. When he wasn't protecting his family and pride from any threats to their border, he was back with his family. And today, was a special day for him. He was going to spend the day with one of his sons, Arun.
With a litter as large as they had, it was nice and something he tries to do, is spend a little quality time with each of the cubs individually, instead of dividing his attention in five or six different directions.
His golden eyes gazed back as he called out softly, "Arun?"

Arun, as of late not trying with the sand sculptures for a while, since he was not big enough to dig a fast enough trench fast enough, had found a way to have fun, resorting to collecting little trinkets washed up from the shore. Those things on the beach near where the sand cribs skittered on the sand, and those things he could reach within small tidepools, those things no alive of course.
He had a secret hiding spot between rocks, somewhat like a small beach side cavern that would fill up once the tide came in, but he had moved most of it, now smooth stones he liked to rub his paws against were left, and the occasional shell.
Arun wanted to make something, or find something extremely special that would make his parents proud, or find something special for his mother, yea, that'd be nice. Ears flickered and he turned his head hearing his father's voice, "Dad?"

At the sound of his son's voice, Ravi couldn't help but feel his heart swell with pride. It was just amazing to know that he and Sevati had cubs, little cubs that looked like the two of them! It didn't take him long to spot the red and white body on the sandy beach. Just like himself, his family stood out quite nicely.
With a smile, he took a couple of steps in Arun's direction, "What are you up to?" He was always curious about his cubs, they were so unique from one another, each with a differing personality.

"I want to find something..different, but good," nothing bad, nothing could be bad he found or it would stomp on his pride a little bit. His ears swiveled as he inhaled the salty air and he sighed as if refreshened, "I want to find something nice for mom, maybe a nice shell, or stone or something, but nothing stands out, nothing is..different, from what I've found."
He pawed at the array of shells before his paw, they clinked together, one chipped, his ears folded back, "I want to find her something pretty, but I don't know what."

While his son was talking, Ravi took this time to make his way over to his son's side. His head was slightly bent forward to look at what his son was talking about. "I'm sure your mother would be happy with whatever you got for her, Arun. It's the thought that counts." He nodded his head slightly before nuzzling his son.
"How about we go and find something together them? I'm sure that there will be something out here that will catch your interest and be what you are looking for!" He was sure of it. The sea had so many things to give them, that all they had to do was look for them.

"Yea," Arun said suddenly turning his attention to a small sand crab skittering across his paws. He pulled his paw back, quirked a brow at the tiny thing, they pinched to, and he was glad it didn't go after one of his toes. "What do you think mom would like?" he asked, pondering, a shell, a nice flower? He wanted it to be able to last, and be strong.
"I want it to be special, but not fragile, I don't want it to wither either..." a shell, or some stone? Something else? What else could their be?
