AND IT IS NOT YOUR ARMY, what is your plan?
Mine involves a crow bar and my ninja-to. I keep the latter well-sharpened (it can slice skin without pressure put on the blade), and the former needs no upkeep. First thing I would do is liberate my surviving friends (all of whom would be as equally prepared as me) and head for the police station while keeping our distance from hospitals and stores. If the police station is occupied by zombies, we proceed to the pawn shop. If there are police inside holding down the fort, we join. If it is vacant, we take the shotguns.
We then head for the luxury resort 15 minutes away. By normal logic, it should be secure and filled with previsions, yet housing a relatively small number of people. This means less people to share food with, or less zombies to kill. We wait there for military support.
What about you guys?

... *cough* Sit back in my awesome chair and wait for my zombie army to win before I kill them off and start the world anew.
EDIT: Ah, seems you did something instead of argued about it. 8D Well, in that case, I'd be in space. Buh duh.
but, since I know you'll just edit and change THAT, I'd just go into the Campus science labs, grab all sorts of flammable things, and hide in the observatory- one entrance. And with possibly hundreds of other survivors/victims... eh. Too many variables. I'd just plan for the minute. In this 'hypothetical' scenario, anyway.
Also, most of the choices won't work besides the short blade. Obviously, a long blade would be better. Keep them the ******** away. Guns have ammo, trucks have gas.

What kind of Zombie's are we talking about? The slow moving zombies, or the '28 days/Weeks later', Zombies? srsly cus those zombies run their ASSES off, it wud look like the LA riots.
A slow Zombie you could just tip toe around, make fun uv, but the fast movers will b right up on your a**.
No one gets to survive if they get eaten by a slow zombie, cus u gotta be like: *whilst a zombie is nomming on ur arm* ' *** damnit! how sorry am I? this is embarrasing.'

I'd grab the sharpened knife I've recently bought, hide out in my room, and barricade the door with my bunk. Wait, that wouldn't work, the door opens OUT. >< Okay, so I'd still grab the knife, secure it to my belt, wrap my belt-chain around my fist, then run in the kitchen and grab the eight steak knives we have and the really freaking big knife that I don't know what it's for, and stick them in whatever handy holding areas that won't hurt I have. Like in my belt again. xd Those kitchen knives would be for throwing at zombies and/or sticking in the creatures to distract them so I can get away. I'm not letting my fighting knife go if I can help it--in fact, that's my last-ditch weapon 'cause it's my best. Sadly, I don't think my Keyblade would be much use on zombies. crying
Anyway, after that, I'd be running through Omaha dodging whatever zombies I could, and *hopefully* dispatching any that I can't escape from. IF I manage to survive, I know Omaha well enough that I can evade death/zombies for long enough to find defensible ground and/or fellow defenders. I'm banking, however, on dying pretty quickly, 'cause while I'm faster, stronger, and more agile than I look, that's not really saying much, and I'd seriously get killed in a heartbeat.
HOWEVER
If the zombies attack while I'm at work, I'd run over to Stella's (totally awesome sword shop) and pick up the sharpest blade I can wield easily. Unfortunately, there are two entrances, so I'd have to head into the back section of the store where only employees are allowed and make a stand there. There should only be one employee in the store, so if s/he's a zombie, I can dispatch him/her easily. xd

I think I'd be dead... = I've shot a shotgun before, but it near blew me off my feet..well no.. but near blew my shoulder into pain XD!! And I have a semi blunted katana at home and a pair of butterfly knives... ._.'' I'll err.. run over to my friend's house... her parents like collecting weapons... XD!!

Hm...Well, all I really have is the kitchen knives and my dagger that are actually sharp. ...I could barricade myself in my room, but there's the problem of my door opening out and there's no food there...though, I do live somewhat close to a pawn shop, so I might try to head there if I think about it for (hopefully) a handgun. One bullet to the brain and you're done^_^...for them, not me. Besides, a shotgun, while nice, works better at closer range...I don't want to get close to them...maybe a rifle, so I can pick them off from the roof...
Damn, honestly, I don't know ._.; Maybe get all close with the leader of the army?...unless they're a zombie, then I'm just plain screwed...

Hmm... it seems I'm ready for a zombie attack... since I have... all the above in my house.
3-4 shotguns, a rifle, pistol, 2 swords, 2 daggers, my dad had an 18 wheeler, plenty of shovels and other construction equipment(including a crowbar)... and none of it would do me any good... cuz I'd be running my a** off! lol
