 The long summer nights were finally growing to a close, leaves were changing, the grass was slowing down it's growth.. the wind was becoming heavier with a hint of rain in every wisp...
In the clearing sat a grey lion, her brown eyes looked irritated as nipped at a loose piece of fur. Even though summer was ending she was still molting! MOLTING! She growled, her paw pulling at her ear.. Sighing, she rolled over onto her back. She felt awkward. Her ears were too big, her body strangely proportioned to her legs and tail. This is what she had wanted all along, wasn't it? To finally grow up. And now that it was happening she couldn't help but want to go back to her childhood. Maybe she had wished to grow up too fast... No. She shook her head. How dare she even think such a thing? Soon she'd be an adult and everything would fall into place, it was only a matter of time.

As her life progressed and Liqui began to realize that she was growing up and that meant she had to learn a little independence or so her friend had told her, she had began taking little trips away from their family's camp, sometimes to gather some sweet fruit her mother had once limited her on or perhaps a lone drink whilst enjoying the scenery. Slowly Liqui was branching out and though she never met anyone she was beginning to feel quite confident in herself not quite the little girl she was.
That lioness was headed out again, excellent! The pink furred dragoness grinned as her target made her way out of site from the protection of her family, she had watched this one for quite some time, and her family. Pondering over which ones she attempt to work her schemes on, they all seemed good prospects but the girl... oh how she craved for the girl. Every time she followed her Ife could almost taste the innocence, her energy always wasted on silly childhood games but now she was growing and Ife saw her opportunity...
Sneaking silently behind the lioness she concealed herself in bushes until they were a suitable distance away and finally the two were alone though the lioness had no knowledge of it yet.
Liqui's head lowered as she smelt the flower at the bass of a tree, was this the smell of freedom? Her fur felt uncomfortable and all Liqui could think about was home... this was all far to over-rated, her ears twitched as she heard something... or did she? As her eyes darted about her paws where shaking nervously "I think its time to go home..." the teen mumbled as she began to step towards the clearing she had hoped would be a shortcut back.
Ife growled slightly, she wasn't about to let her target go just yet... Bounding out she pounced on the lioness and batted her with a paw "Tag your.. oh your not..." She climbed off and faked an apology "Sorry I uh.. thought you were someone else we were just playing see..."
Liqui found herself underneath something.. something a little more heavier than herself and let out a squeal. As the weight lifted she scurried to her feet and let her body swing so she was facing whatever had just... tag? Wha.... Liqui blinked and quickly found herself giggling... Chagi had taught her to be forgiving was this dragon just wanting to play... well... that was fine... "Thats alrig't!" she managed to get out threw the giggles.
"Would you like to play?" She raised an eyebrow and tried her best childish look, then proceeded to look about "I don't think my friend is coming back...."
"Sure! I uh Guess I'm It right now eh?" Grinning Liqui was quick to take advantage and bound towards her before the dragon could react, with a swift bat of her paw and a "TAG!" she was already a good few meters away making her escape through the clearing.
Ife grinned.. it was all going to plan now just to execute the first move towards a very enjoyable day on her part at least... Scurrying about Ife climbed the nearest tree and waiting before..
"Eh?" Liqui had turned back and noticed her opponent missing, turning back she looked about in the bushes and saw nothing until she looked up and with wide eyes noticed....
Ife had jumped down just as Liqui had walked under her fallen rather precariously with her paws in parts they probably shouldn't be. It was a few seconds until she found out if she would have any luck with her latest target.
The lionesses cheeks had turned an off red, had her fur not been its colour someone may of noticed she froze briefly before wriggling out and away from the dragoness. "I think you landed a little strange... I'm well I don't..."
Ife's pouted as Liqui escaped her and sighed when she looked uncomfortable the lioness wasn't interested... or maybe she was just shy? Getting to her feet Ife walked over and brushed up against Liqui, she'd already started she may as well get a definite yes or no.
Liqui held back the feeling of just wanting to run away, she wasn't enjoying this one bit... she didn't even know this dragoness's name let alone what she was like as a friend or a person! But never the less she was taught to give people a chance, forgive and forget and help whenever possible...
Liqui shut her eyes took in a deep breath then opened them with a smile "I'm sorry I really don't think we're interested in the same thing" turning to the dragon she nodded slightly "I have a friend that does however... Maybe if we walk a bit we'll find her?"
Ife let out a huff, she didn't want a friend she wanted this one, this innocent and eager youngster but... if she waited any longer she'd have to go see her old dragon friend Duke... oh what was that little lioness girl she's seen him with? Now there was another she'd like to spend some time getting to know from the shades of the bushes, it had been a while since she saw either one of them Ife had spotted a similar looking lioness around this one, they couldn't be... nah... but she did need some attention so with a sigh she nodded and retreated from her side "Fine..."
With a vigorous nod Liqui began to bound towards the clearing for the third time, eager to find a solution to this little encounter, even if Xnah wasn't interested Liqui didn't care she'd know what to do this was completely out of the leagues and range of Liqui's understanding or help she was still trying to get the grips on Xnah's sexual preferences.

Growling came low from Xnah's throat. She was going insane! Absolutely insane! How could birds stand this? Xnah collapsed on the ground with her legs spread. She felt defeated. She wasn't quite sure how this day could get any worse. She let out a deep breath, her eyes scanning the trees when she thought she saw two figures moving closer to her. Squinting her eyes, she thought she recognized one of them, "Liqui?" What was Liqui doing out this far from home? And why was there a dragon following her? She was sure that Liqui didn't know any dragons other than the ones in her family...

"Xnah!" She continued her pace and glomped her gray friend, pleased to see her and already feeling a little easier about the situation now just to get the introductions going... Peering to the dragoness she began "This is..." typical Liqui she'd not had time to talk much to the females let alone ask her name.
"Ife." The faded red dragon walked behind in her own pace before getting behind Liqui to her side and stopping, taking a seat and glaring at Xnah.
"Yea Ife! This is Xnah, my friend I was talking about" Even though the scene hadn't reduced from its thick state Liqui was already feeling the pressure lifting she wasn't alone anymore and Xnah was so smart she truly felt safe in her presence.
As Ife's eyes scanned the new female she had to admit she was a nice specimen for a lion but strangely familiar... It must just of been the fact she was Liqui's friend... at some point she must of seen her when watching the other teen, yes that must be it.

Xnah eyed the dark pink dragoness for a moment before her eyes shifted to Liqui. She still wasn't quite sure why Liqui was with a dragon to begin with. "It's nice to meet you Ife." She stated, her brown eyes staring at her before she shrugged it off. Perhaps it would be revealed in time. "Friend?" She moved back to Liqui and let out a breath as she dragged herself back to the ground. "So what are the two of you doing out here?"

Liqui smiled her usual beam of contentness "I was taking a wander... dad was watching the little ones so I was getting a bit of me time.. and well Ife here mistook me for someone else and well..." Suddenly Liqui was looking a little embarrassed, she wasn't completely comfortable with what happened.
Ife's gaze hadn't left the grey teen, Xnah that was an interesting name not that the dragon had given it much thought, it wasn't words she was interested in. She was thinking back to all the times she'd seen Xnah with Liqui, she'd not seen her play much, and now she was laying here in front of her. Not quite the energy of Liqui that she'd lusted for but perhaps there was potential, hell anything for a bit of fun right?
Get over yourself Ife.
A grin appeared on Ife's face as she finished Liqui's sentence "I'd hoped our mutual friend here was interested in something more fun that childish play" As she finished her sentence obscene thoughts of what her Xnah could achieve entered her mind, making the meeting seem more enticing.

Xnah watched curiously when Liqui blushed, she wasn't quite sure she had ever seen that action from Liqui which made Xnah wonder if the girl was finally growing up a little.. maybe. And then when she heard the dragoness' words her brow raised. No wonder. She couldn't help but feel a little angry that this female would presume things about her friend, because believe her.. if Liqui had ever shown interest in that Xnah would have already offered.
"What exactly is your interest Miss Ife?" Xnah walked passed her, curling her tail as it brushed the dragon's fur. She wanted to see just how far she could take this. If played right maybe she wouldn't quite need Liqui and well... she'd be doing Liqui a favor because maybe this dragoness would stop bothering her.

Ife's eyes closed with bliss as she felt the contact of another willingly brush against her, Liqui had been right it seemed this friend of hers had already shown more interest than the naive lioness. "Well Miss Xnah" She started as she rose to her feet and began to walk towards Xnah, brushing up against her with a slight purr "My interested had been to show our Liqui here some adult fun, a way to vent all that..." A shudder of anticipation flowed down her body as she thought of all the way's she'd achieve this sort of fun with Liqui. "wasted youthful energy..."
Liqui was starting to feel awkward again, she began to back away slowly and silently headed towards the water. It wasn't that she didn't approve of this sort of behavior she just liked to stay in here little bubble where girls like her got whisked off her paws by handsome, charming males. So she'd get a drink and maybe when she was done slowly lapping up the water the two would be gone or doing something that she could easily walk away from.

Xnah had enjoyed the tough of the dragoness' body against hers but she didn't let it show, instead she watched the female and then gritted her teeth slightly when the mention of Liqui came up again. "Liqui isn't like us... there is nothing wrong with that." She stated boldly, sitting up straight. "If she wants to find someone she'll do it on her own time, that's just how she is." Her eyes wandered over to the lioness. Xnah felt bad, she could see why Liqui was so uncomfortable and she wanted to make sure she was alright, still... a big part of her wanted to stay and see if this female's mind would ever wonder away from what she couldn't have.
Instinctively, the latter won. Curling her lips into a smirk, Xnah smoothed out her posture, trying to look more sophisticated though it didn't take much for Xnah to gain that appearance, even in her awkward teenage body. "But... why waste your time on someone who won't return your advances... I'm sure you could find.. other more suited opportunists..."

Ife felt her wander over to Liqui as Xnah's did, the lionesses back was turned and she out of hearing range at this point. "I'm beginning to gather that, such a shame..." It really was to Ife, she'd dreamed so much of the girl but after making her attempts the words of not only Liqui but Xnah too where making her doubt the possibility of her every feeling the touch of that fiery brown fur of hers against her own. For a moment she could feel a pout appearing, she hated accepting defeat and rejection, she'd put so much thought into this and for what...
...Apparently not nothing. A grin forming in the place of her pout as her eyes slinked up to meet Xnah's words, not nothing she was beginning to gather. Though this Xnah was not her first goal she was defiantly something to go after, she'd never given much consideration to how to go about it her mind had been filled with other possibilities but the grey lionesses was playing a game that Ife lusted after.
"I don't suppose you have anyone in mind Miss Xnah?" Her eyes sparkled as the attraction to the new female blossomed the images of her self and Liqui being replaced with Xnah, and at least it looked like she would get somewhere with this one. "I'd certainly not be one to pass up such opportunists."

"Well.. it depends on what you have a taste for Miss." Her eyes were peeled on this dragoness. This could prove to be fun.. maybe. Well, at least she could maybe save Liqui from it, whatever the case. Of course, Xnah completely playing the knight on this matter wouldn't be her true colors. If there was something in it for herself she would certainly take up anyone on that offer. "..But I'm sure with a dragoness such as yourself... plenty of opportunists might take advantage, it just depends if you want them to.." She tilted her head to one side as she stepped closer, her tail fidgeting against the dragon's fur.

"Taste? I must admit I crave the taste for most things." Her grin expanded as the lionesses moved in closer by a step, Ife joined the motion and took another step close enough almost to touch noses now. Resisting the urge to giggle and pounce her right now the tail's fidgety nature stirring her natural instinct, pounce or be pounced the whole rotation of a intimate relationship. "Miss Xnah someone could mistake your words as a cover for a deeper motive, my tastes, if you may wonder, defiantly include certain grey beauties whom present them selfs as a rather grand opportunist." Ife couldn't resist, the word play was working her up something fierce, she wanted to pounce but the thought of having the larger lionesses take the first move was something to savior and if it where to happen, it would make the words so worth it.
