Gyani tilted her head, agenda? Ah yes! "Are you up to finding Kaya now? " She said, tail swishing a bit behind her. "Or wuld you prefer me to cach something for you first? " The femme wffed, though she highly doubted hewanted it after so much water, even if it was overnight.
Well, she supposed Shilah had gone from upper, to higher grounds, as rivers pulled to lower grounds. Though, this case confused Gyani too, probably because the snake part left her a little out of place. Well, nothing she culdent put back together, ne?

His tail wags a little at that; but that hurts, so he stops. But he nods anyway. "I'm all up for food and Kaya, in that order, please," He says crisply. No sense in hunting on an empty stomach, right? The slight queasiness in his stomach is slowly disappating, to be replaved by a ravenous hunger. He's not entirely sure he'll be able to stomach whatever he eats, but he's certainly willing to try.

Gyani nodded. "Think you can wait here? I thnk the rabbits are back out were I cought the last one. " She said with a nod, though she did want to wait for an answer, always a possibility he wanted to go to, ne? Her ears though, were already alert in the direction where the rabbits usualy were, even if he did want to go, sill dinna stop her fom bein' 'lert, or else for sure she'd cach nothing!

He looks momentarily put-out that he doesn't get to go with her, but grudgingly nods. He'd be no good in a hunt anyway, but he wonders if she'll be able to catch anything, either...she seems a bit tottery this morning. No thanks to him. Guilt threatens to overwhelm him again. Argh. He should just go to sleep and curl up and not wake up again for another five or six moons, then maybe all his problems will have gone away by then.
He flops onto the ground, looking rather forlorn. But he does manage a, "That's fine...I always liked a good juicy rabbit." <3
((...something fun needs to happen. *insert drama coming up* xd ))

Gyani nodded and walked off, slowly at her own pace, the rabbits were nearby, yes, she culd scent them. Soo enough, she reached a small.. Clearing, ish, thing. It was merely a few meters though, just enough for a few holes.
Holes? Ding ding ding ding idea! Gyani knew she wasent in a good contition to just chase down a rabbit, why not FOOL it? Yes, fool. Gyani started to dig a hole, deep enough for a rabit to fit in, and also shalow enough for her to be able to n** it out!
Now, she walked around the little clearing thingu, just waiting for a rabbit to chance out-- There! She lnged forward, jumping over the hole to shoo the rabit away from the real one, and towards her trap.
You're getting out of there. " She grumbled, poking her nose in the fake hole and pulling the rabbit out, emmediatly killing the prey. "Now Shilah will have food. " Gyani beamed to herself, trotting in the direction she came from.

Shilah snoozed a little in the clearing, one eye opening up slightly at the sound of a nearby rustle. "S'about time," He calls out perkily. "My stomach's been making noises at me for the past couple minutes." He gets up and meanders over towards the brush, shaking out his ruff. Hmm. Not the smell of rabbit..."Did you get a rabbit," He starts, "...or a - "
He breaks off suddenly, as if finds his nose an inch or two away from a big buck's - a buck, moreover, with a rather huge rack. Big buck. Big, big.
At any other time of the year, these big beasts are ready to run, particularly from a fine, able-bodied wolf such as Shilah. But this time of year is a different matter. This time of year, the male bucks are aggressive...and a deer this large is nothing to sniff at, particularly when you're as sore, stiff, and bedraggled as Shilah feels.
There's a brief, little pause in which deer and wolf contemplate one another.
A little while later, there's a yelp, and Shilah comes bursting through the foilage past Gyani at a dead run, deer hard on his tail. It fortunately halts, stamping a hoof to the ground in warning, and chuffing in annoyance. It's nostrils flare, suddenly, and take in the scent of fresh blood...and it's off, kicking and bucking up it's feet with all the enthusiasm of a child that's had far too much sugar for it's own good.
A nose pokes out from behind a tree. "The thing almost bite me," Shilah says reproachfully, staring at the retreating preybeast.

Gyani just managed a halt when she heard the yelp, and nearly fell over when Shilah started running at her -- Oi! But, wow, a buck? Aiaiai! She stepped back, head lowered and tail merely hanging, the female releasing a warning growl as answer to the bucks warning, but then, it ranoff? Odd. "Good thing you got legs. " She said, then managed to swing the rabit and let it go so that it landed near Shilah. "Got one for ya. " Beamed Gyani, trying to change subject. No use holding the buck for so long ne?
