Within the hospital wing, the authority of Madame Isis Omorose– the Healer – is absolute. Not only does she have full authority over her patients, she also calls the shots with the teachers, and has even pulled rank over the headmistress As such, Madame Omorose is not one to be trifled with – she knows what is best for her patients. However, although she is very strict, she is also very kind and never asks too many awkward questions.
The hospital wing is entered through double doors, and it is a large dormitory that has beds with white linen sheets lined up on two sides of the walls; Madame Omorose's office and her living quarters are adjacent. Students and staff who were injured or ill can go to the hospital wing, and Madame Omorose can heal most illnesses and injuries. However, for more serious or long-term injuries or illness, a student or staff member would be sent to St. Mungo’s Hospital.
