im trying to twink my warrior and damn, man. its extremely boring. either running low end dungeons to get it(and my enchanter) items or buying them you're still sinking way too damn much time into it. dont know how poeple can constantly do this s**t.

though it was fun prof twinking her. the target dummy has saved her a** so goddamn much and its kinda cool having a head item at an ungodly low level

see the reason people twink is because they're bored with other characters and actually want to spend their money on a low level overpowered character, and they have that extra time

Can anyone tell me the point of 19 twinks please?

probably for those warsong gulch spamming dipsticks.

though it is nice finally seeing how midfield plays there though. as a rogue i usually stayed on d or made flagruns. but i was more effective on d.

you know until all the mass fear spells came out as the levels got higher

So they can say "lolz i spent 3k on a 19 and he just killed someone."

I agree that 19 twinks are pointless, because they're just too low leveled to really provide any variety in playstyles or specs depending on your class.
39 is where it's at imo. Mounts, and due to the 35+ lvl required for BC enchants it's the lowest bracket that can use the fun stuff. :]

Quoted from the Urban Dictionary:

1. twink

An attractive, boyish-looking, young gay man. The stereotypical twink is 18-22, slender with little or no body hair, often blonde, dresses in club wear even at 10:00 AM, and is not particularly intelligent. A twink is the gay answer to the blonde bimbo cheerleader.

There are two major theories about the origin of this word, both of which probably have elements of truth to them.

a) Twink comes from an acronym T.W.I.N.K. "Teenage, White, Into No Kink."

b) Twink is a shortening of the name for the famous "TWINKIE" snack cake: a tasty, cream-filled snack with no nutritional value. The phallic shape of the "TWINKIE" snack cake should not escape the reader's attention.

Ex: "I don't like going to that club because it's nothing but a bunch of twinks."

And that is why I will never make a twink, and while I mean no PERSONAL offense, I usually make fun of people who do.

Nothing wrong with gay men. I'd keep that kind of talk to a minimum.

Theres nothing wrong with a lowbie character with great gear in a battleground. If the person playing that hunter wants to spend thousands of gold decking it out, thats fine with me. Its pixel money, let them spend it how they want. For people who cry lowbie battlegrounds are 'unfair' its exactly the same thing as a full brutal pvp character running around in a warsong. They spent the time and effort (and perhaps gold) getting the gear, why shouldn't they be allowed to enjoy it because a bunch of whiny kids are complaining that their HKs dropped?
Its a battleground, a game within a game. Sometimes you'll win, and sometimes you'll lose. Learn that both will happen and whine less about the honour farming or how looooong it takes you to get a WSG mark. Whine less about the people who spent MORE time and MORE effort getting a better geared character than yourself, who apparently shouldn't be able to enjoy it just because you're a casual gamer and they're not.
Throw this into your calculations: I'm a casual gamer with 2 jobs, a boyfriend and multiple other hobbies, who pvp's for fun and for gearing up lowbie characters, or ones who have recently hit 70. I've played in every bracket, and I've been doing it for years. Its not that bad. Theres not much difference in a lowbie BG filled with twinks and one with only one twink present. You'll still get your honour and you'll still get your mark.
Cry some more.

I never said there was anything wrong with them. On the contrary, I'm a big a Yaoi fan as any girl. But let's face it, most people who play WoW are teenage boys who say 'thats gay!' about everything bloody little thing and consider 'you f**!' to be the most insulting thing you can say. It amuses me to no end to inform them that their level 19 rogue that they've dumped hundred or thousands of gold into has been cristened after the thing they most fear and chastise irl. That's all.

And dayam, touchy much? Calm down there. I said I didnt mean any offense to anyone here who happens to twink, so I apologize if you are too thin-skinned to take a joke.
